The hotel was quite nice, but the wifi was awful, which did affect the enjoyment of our stay. The West End wifi just didn't work, and we ended up having to use our phone hotspots - we had to put our phones outside of the window to have any signal at all. The poor signal meant I couldn't work which I'd intended to do - and I can't take work calls in public areas. We did report it to reception but nothing was done.
The TV picture was glitchy - maybe again due to poor signal?
The shower was lovely but the bathtub itself is quite flimsy and does flex when you're in it - a bit disconcerting!
Hotel clean though, generally the staff were friendly and attentive. We would stay again, but would want assurances that the wifi was working!

Staff was not very helpful
The hotel is situated ideally on the promenade des anglais. It’s easy to get around and not far from the airport. We enjoyed the historic atmosphere of the hotel which is embedded in its decor. The staff was exceptional - friendly and professional, ready to address our needs. The restaurant Le Siècle was excellent , the food was good and the staff was nice and efficient.
Only one thing - the Blue beach which does not belong to the hotel though. It’s independent but they have partnership with the hotel and provide sun beds/towels at a reduced price. We found the staff of the beach unfriendly and even arrogant, the facilities (shower, toilets) were dirty, the food was not good and overpriced.

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi il y a autant de personnels à l’heure du petit déjeuner alors qu’ils ne font absolument rien.
Ce serait mieux qu’il y ait moins de personnel, mais des produits de meilleure qualité.
Les jus de fruits et le café sont une véritable catastrophe.

The bed is very small for us both and it’s very shaky.
The room was extremely damp and smelled strongly of mold. This was not a faint odor—it was so intense that it was difficult to breathe. The AC ran all day but made no difference, and the linens felt wet to the touch. There were no mosquito screens, so opening the door to air out the room quickly filled it with mosquitoes.
I called reception and asked to change rooms. They claimed the hotel was fully booked, but Booking.com still showed available rooms. They made me wait, then hung up. I also messaged them through the app and received no response.
The management was disrespectful and careless. The hotel is outdated, poorly maintained and far below four-star standards. Considering how much we paid, I left feeling completely ripped off.
emplacement - pratiquement en centre ville - et la possibilité de se déplacer sans utiliser sa voiture. Bus ou taxi à côté.
le seul reproche - nous avons réservé deux chambres et voyagé avec notre fille et avons demandé d'être côte à côte ou sinon au plus près . Nous avons eu une chambre au 3ème et notre fille au 1er. Dommage !
The hotel is in a great location. Breakfast restaurant staff was lovely. Otherwise it was not worth the nightly rate.
We had an issue checking into our room and did not think the staff cared. After 4 hours in the lobby they offered us a free drink. They said it was an issue with the soap dispenser in the bathroom. When we got to the room we realized it was an issue with the tub that did not drain. I actually moved to another hotel up the street instead of extending my stay at this hotel. They did not disclose the extra room in the suite I booked was a bunk bed. You cannot keep three adults in a very small suite when the second room is bunk beds.

The room had a severe moisture and mold problem. This was not a mild musty smell or a small trace of dampness. The odor was constant and so strong that the air felt difficult to breathe. Even with the AC running all day, the room remained heavily humid and the linens felt wet to the touch. При выезде предьявили счет в местном ресторане , которым не пользовались. Чужая подпись, сразу отменили
