Amazing facility to live at !
Pros:

Ohh my goodness, the view was fantastic! Value for money is an understatement; the hotel is great. Location, close to the train station, clean, we had dinner one of the evenings and was great. Parking to guests was provided, honestly, I will forever book View Hotel when I come to Sydney.

Zu meiner Person . Ich habe schon über 100 Hotels auf der Welt besucht und Versuche immer die Bewertung im Preis Leistungs Verhältnis zu schreiben. (Mann kann in einen Hostel halt nicht das erwarten was man in einen 5 Sterne Hotel Erwarten darf.) Nun zu diesem Hotel:
Am Ende der Bewertung kommt Ausnahmsweise (machen ich sonst nie) eine persönliche Sache die mich sehr ärgert.
Nun zum Hotel:
Das positive ist das der Blick vom Zimmer sehr schön ist und das Frühstück im oberen Bereich ist,
Nun zur Bewertung des Hotels warum es für den Preis nicht so gut ist. (Bevor ich was Persönliches Schreibe)
1) Direkt unter dem Hotel fährt die Bahn in einen Bahnhof ein (extrem Laut als wenn ein Flugzeug startet.) Dadurch ist die Anbindung an den ÖVV zwar Klasse aber alle 5 min senkrecht im Bett stehen hatte ich nicht erwartet. 2) Der Blick ist zwar toll aber wenn die Fenster von draussen Dreckig sind bringt das nichts. 3) Das Frühstück war soweit OK aber nur 1 Automat für Kaffee ist zu wenig und 4 Toaster sind zwar Klasse , aber die drei Brotsorten waren nur Trocken und schlimm. TIP an das Hotel: Im Supermarkt einfach das Brot kaufen . Das schmeckt :
Jetzt das Persönliche: Ich hatte dieses Hotel vor über 1 Jahr schon gebucht. Nun hat der USA-Iran Krieg meine ganze Plannung verändert. Booking.com hatte während meines 25 Std Fluges die Aufgabe den Ankunftstag um 1 Tag zu Verschieben. Nach kaufen der Aus.SIM sah ich dann die Mitteilung das View Sydney sich einfach nicht meldet, und vom Hotel eine Mitteilung das ich ja garnicht Angereise war und ob die Buchung noch OK ist. Ich schrieb dann den Sachverhalt zurück. Beim Check inn bat ich die Mitarbeiterin dann eine Lösung mit Ihrem Boss zu finden da ich ja 1 Nacht und ein Frühstück nicht hatte. Nun hatte ich in den 2 Tagen erwartet das die mir Geld zurückzahlen oder mind. ein Diner Umsonst gegeben wird. Aber bei Check out nichts einfach nichts nur Aroganz

Wenn wir was anderes finden, dann nicht unbedingt.
Pros:

Sehr schöne Lage mit super Aussicht aus dem Fenster nachts. Sehr nettes und hilfreiches Personal. Frühstück eher mittelmäßig, qualitativ gut, aber etwas wenig abwechslungsreich

Cons:

Deutlich veraltete Zimmern, Spiegel im Bad mit entspiegelten, braun-schwarzen Rändern. Nach der Ausstattung passt zu einem 3-4 Sternehotel, de facto maximal 3 Sterne. Das Bett wird zwar gemacht, die Badetücher zum Teil mit Löchern, werden aber regelmäßig ausgetauscht-sehr gut.

Stay would have been good but for the train noise.

Pros:

Really delivers on the view from the room - though unfortunately apartments have built out the view across the northen end of the bridge, not sure if the Opera House would otherwise have been visible. But it is a short walk to several places with favourable views, and the room view of the bridge and the city skyline is still amazing - great fun watching the boats coming and going through the harbour, and the planes on approach circling the city. Room itself was spacious and clean, basic amenities. Windows were clean except for a couple of vertical lines.

Cons:

Access with suitcases from the road is up a steep and narrow ramp on the side of the car access ramp - clearly the expectation is you arrive by vehicle despite the train station being directly next door. The bar closing at 10pm seemed strange, it would have been nice to enjoy a drink later into the evening after returning from dinner. Strange too that the bar is not the area with a view, that is only the restaurant area. Also while the eponymous view is spectacular, the cost did seem overpriced considering the rooms themselves were nothing particularly special, and the included breakfast was fine but just a regular buffet as you expect. Yet the room cost was more per night than my central city hotel had been the previous nights for larger rooms and full size bath (only a compact bathroom with shower here).

Ask for a higher floor to minimise the noise from trains
Pros:

The view from the harbour view rooms was incredible

Cons:

The hotel is built on top of the main train line for northern Sydney, the trains are very loud and are at all times of the day, however we were originally on floor 3 and struggled to sleep, we were moved to a room on floor 9 and it was a lot better.

The room was not the quietist, we could here the neighbouring person sneezing/coughing and also the trains and we were on the 8th floor

Nice location and nice view

Cons:

So close to the train tracks, meaning North Sydney Station right under the hotel and it was a struggle to get to sleep most nights. If you’re not fussed about noise this will be for you, but for us it was a few nights with broken sleep.
Privacy within the bathroom was minimal as there was a window and a drop down blind that doesn’t appear to cover much view, as it wasn’t a block out.
As we were travelling for work, we had to ask eachother to leave the room sometimes during the night because when the bathroom light was on you could pretty much see a someone on the toilet or naked in the shower Very embarrassing..
