Always exceptional
Pros:

The warm welcome by staff (and their help and friendliness during my stay). The view from my room was incredible. Bed: very comfortable. Restaurant food, staff, ambience: food and service were excellent and great view through to harbour.

Will stay again as it is ideally placed and located so we can do what is required in Sydney!
Pros:

Centrally located, staff are very friendly and helpful. A brilliant location next to railway station.

Cons:

You have to accept that underneath your building there are train lines but seemingly quiet in the middle of night and early morning!

The View has a great view of the harbour and a very convenient location for public transport.

We enjoyed the view from our room. The location close to the North Sydney train station is convenient.

Cons:

The noise from the trains passing underneath was annoying at first, but you soon got used to it.

Great location, reasonable price, comfortable stay
Pros:

View Sydney is located on the north side of Sydney Harbour, but is steps from a train station and bus stops and therefore access to the whole city. It's also possible to walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which is a must do!
The staff were excellent, very friendly and welcoming and reacted quickly when we had a problem with the TV. I know that one doesn't go on holiday to watch TV, but after a day of walking around the city, it's nice to relax while watching a show. We found that many of the hotels we stayed in during our trip Down Under had internet TV, and it generally wasn't very satisfactory.
There is a restaurant in the hotel but we couldn't find any info about menu and prices, however there are lots of restaurants in the vicinity, as well as a couple of grocery stores where we got supplies for breakfast.
Our room didn't have a view of the Harbour, but the terrace outside does and it's spectacular.
Our room was very comfortable and clean and the price was very reasonable. We enjoyed our stay at View Sydney and would recommend it.

Cons:

Internet TV was a faff.

A very special thank you to Carol for going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, welcoming, and truly memorable. Her kindness, professionalism, and warm hospitality made us feel valued throughout our visit.

The other staff members were equally amazing — always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with a smile. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and offered stunning views that made our Sydney experience even more special.

Thank you to Carol and the whole View Sydney Hotel team for the outstanding hospitality. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again on our next visit to Sydney!
