Hidden gem - the best reasonable choice for the Norfolk, Chesapeake area
Pros:

Easy access to the hotel. With good parking and good rates. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast included in price.

Cons:

It was hard to discover this hotel option searching the Norfolk / Chesapeake area. Booking .com rated it high and Asphalt Lots recommended it for cruise parking. I am pleased to have found it and will happily use it again.

My wife and I were not happy we didn’t want a handicap room second time this happened with comfort suites I wanted a other room and the staff wouldn’t give me a other room don’t worry we will not go to Comfort Suites again. Thanks

Good hotel room at a reasonable price
Pros:

The room, as well as the rest of the building that I saw, was clean & well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, not too hard or soft. The desk personnel were always polite & helpful. There were plenty of parking spaces available close to the building. The breakfast was very nice with lots of well stocked choices.

Cons:

The room seemed to be a little "dark" to me since all of the lighting was "focused" on a specific area of the room. The only ceiling light was just inside the door so I had to turn on almost all of the other lights in order to be able to see around the room.

Also, I had to constantly fiddle with the HVAC to keep the temperature at a comfortable level. It seemed like it was always just a bit too warm or a little too cool.

Pros:

You know a place with how they deal with problems. And there was a problem with a noisy guest across from my room. They dealt with it in a professional manner and it was solved quickly. Thank you for setting and maintaining boundaries
