staff were all outstanding from check-in to check-out, dining, and housekeeping!

Cons:

reservation was for 3 people but room was not set for 3: not enough towels, not enough coffees, not enough toilet paper, no bedding for the pull-out sofa. would be nice if it was set for the number of guests without us having to go down and ask for things.

Pros:

Ashana was very pleasant to work with during our stay. We had to book at the last minute after discovering that the Comfort Suites in Chesapeake–Portsmouth was run-down and located in an area where we didn’t feel comfortable. Ashana made the booking process easy and helped turn a stressful situation into a positive experience.

Great place to stay if in Norfolk, convenient location, clean, great breakfast.

Great value, clean and comfortable room, great breakfast, good location.

Cons:

Sometimes the staff aren’t the most accommodating. Its a small thing, but during several stays they have run out of coffee creamer and when asked if they could refill it, the response was, “if it isn’t out there then we don’t have any”. If you come back an hour later and ask a different staff member, there is suddenly creamer to he had. Again, its a small thing, but still…

DisComfortInn…NEVER Again!!
Pros:

First, I have NO idea how this Inn got a good rating. We hope No one else will be Duped by the False Rating of this Hotel. Where to Begin: *It was DIRTY.
*The Staff was unfriendly except for one desk person as we were leaving. *The AC Unit was SO LOUD that you had to choose between being Hot or having AC and as a result we had Miserable nights there with little Sleep. *The Breakfast was the Worst continental breakfast we’d ever had Anywhere!
*It did NOT feel SAFE to be there as we returned from our car in the evening and we were approached by someone drinking & carrying alcoholic beverages & pretending to bum a cigarette. *There were people hanging around outside during the day & night smoking and staring us down as we went to our vehicle. *The odor inside the hallways, elevators and our room was not pleasant or clean-smelling. We will NOT Return to this Discomforting hotel.
