Pros:

I had my first experience at Holiday Inn Suva and it was excellent from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with great music that set the perfect tone for the evening. The food was delicious and well-presented, and everything came out fresh and enjoyable.
A special mention goes to our waiter, Watisoni, who provided outstanding service throughout the visit. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right without being intrusive. He was also funny, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable and added a great personal touch to the evening.
Overall, it was a top-notch experience with great food, great service, and a fantastic atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again.

Exceptional Hospitality and Outstanding Service
Pros:

I had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Suva. The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient to explore the city, restaurants, and nearby attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with all the basic amenities needed for a relaxing stay.

Reception: Mereoni, Elenoa, Hasmukh, Loata, Lani, Joe, Beleinda, Akiti, and Aporosa consistently greeted me by name, always with a warm smile and friendly wave whenever we crossed paths. Every request was handled efficiently and professionally.

Porter Services: Peni, Saki, Nemia, and Amini were always courteous, helpful, and professional. I hope I didn’t miss out any one.

Dining & Bar: As a vegetarian, breakfast can often be challenging while traveling. Arieta and Savu went above and beyond to coordinate with the culinary team to ensure suitable options were available. Special thanks to Api, Samu, Vijay, and Kevin for accommodating custom requests and preparing meals with care and attention.

The restaurant team, including Vaseva Vani, Grace, Mere, Seva, Una, and Maria, consistently provided attentive and friendly service. At the bar, Mala, Masi, Sala, Nemani, and Luse created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere throughout my stay.

Housekeeping & Support Staff: Mafi, Kata, and Elenoa from housekeeping consistently went the extra mile to ensure comfort and cleanliness.

The staff truly stood out—friendly, polite, and always willing to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, the service felt professional yet warm, which made the experience even better.

Overall, Holiday Inn Suva was a great value for money, comfort, and excellent service. I would happily recommend it to both business and leisure travelers visiting Suva and would definitely stay here again.

Great stay with excellent housekeeping

A special thank you to Meresimani Peters from Housekeeping. She has been incredibly kind, friendly, and professional throughout our stay. Our room has been cleaned every day to a high standard, and she is always lovely to talk to whenever we see her.

Incredible Service and kindness!
Pros:

Outstanding experience staying at the Holiday Inn Suva for 2 weeks. The service and kindness throughout my stay was second to none, particularly Housekeeping where the wonderful Rota took incredible care of me and my room!!

All good but stealing money
Pros:

Fantastic location and superb ambience except for weekends. It’s tough to stay especially the night. Music is too loud so if you are an early bed goer you certainly expect a difficult challenge. Rooms are spacious, clean and very airy in case you wish to switch off AC sometimes.

THE BADDEST DIRTY thing - without even informing me they charges me 3% extra on cash card on final payment. I understand if it’s a credit card payment. They used all possible business tricks to steal the money. Finally I had to call the police to make them understand stealing is not good. They returned the cash finally. This actually spoiled almost a weeklong good feel.

An enjoyable experience
Pros:

Thank you Jackie for giving us the best room. We've really enjoyed our stay and thanks to all the staff at the front desk for all their great bula smile, it makes us feel so welcomed. Not forgetting the beautiful young lady that was checking us out. I really loved how she handled all our payments and she is very polite.
10/10 to the Front Office Team.

Service was an issue for us
Pros:

Location great and staff were very friendly. Room was good and like being able to sit out on our balcony. We were looking out onto the road which we didn't mind as you could watch the world go by. Even though we faced the road it was very quitet.

Cons:

Our only negative was the service. We had a group of 9 and most of us had to either chase up room service or received the wrong orders. One lunch time we waited well over an hour for a bowl of chips, and we had ordered them down at the bar. We also waited nearly 1.5 hours for drinks on a Saturday night. I think the problem is that because locals can come in and eat and drink, they were just really understaffed. We received wrong orders and some didn't even get their orders. Would not stay here again for that reason.

Disappointing.
Pros:

Reception was very helpful. Great view of the harbour. Room nicely designed.

Cons:

The service for lunch and dinner was very slow and the food was ordinary. It got better when we went to other venues. Room: only one lounge chair to sit on. Bathroom was crowded.
