Stayed here prior to our flight out of O’Hare, and was truly one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. There is really nothing positive I cansay - I do not recommend to anyone.
Easy to get to and was not far into the city. Didn’t have to deal with insane traffic
I booked on booking.com and they were trying to charge my card a second time, even though I had already paid. The room was not very clean- hair in the tub, dusty surfaces, drinking glasses & coffee maker not clean, the mattress cover also had a huge rip in the corner. Surface level the property looks nice in the entrance, but dated and not well kept after you enter the elevator.
I paid 563.87 with my debit card and you withdrew 581.87 from my credit card deposit, so I paid twice, please check and return
Staff was very helpful.park our car for a long time
Nothing
The room divider.
They was died bug all on the window sill
I stayed here for 5 nights in mid-June using Marriott Bonvoy points (utilizing the "Stay for 5, Pay for 4" benefit). My experience with the property and its Director of Operations, Habram Ornelas, was deeply disappointing and deceptive.
1. Housekeeping Failure: Room cleaning was completely skipped for 2 consecutive nights.
2. Incompetent & Dishonest Management: When I complained, Habram Ornelas agreed to refund the points for the 2 missed nights but delayed the process indefinitely with unreasonable, bad-faith demands.
3. The Screenshot Scam: Mr. Ornelas demanded that I provide a screenshot of the nightly point breakdown post-stay—something the Marriott system does not even display to guests. As a DOO, he should perfectly know how his own system works. This was a clear tactic to stonewall my complaint.
4. Deceptive Point Dilution: Although I only redeemed points for 4 nights (since the 5th night was free), Mr. Ornelas attempted to dilute the refund by dividing my total points by 5 instead of 4, completely ignoring dynamic pricing and Bonvoy loyalty terms.
I had to escalate this to Marriott Corporate Care to finally get my points back. Habram Ornelas never apologized for this deceptive behavior. If you value your Bonvoy points and expect honest hospitality, avoid this property. The current management cannot be trusted.
Only one elevator was working which resulted in long lines and delay
Just clean
Elevator didnt work, the bed was unconftable and the toilet was leaking, the hotel saids that icluded breakfast thats the reason I purchased it and when i went to the counter the lady was rude and tell me i didnt have a voucher that you have to pay for break fast, i really didnt like this experience i was hoping for relaxation , this hotel was 150$ with no breakfast and no working elevator ????
Dissapointed!!!!! Im not coming back
The hotel inside looks very old also!
Very used furniture!
The beds were very comfortable
that they only had one elevator working, took forever to get up and down from your room
Stayed there previously. Thought it was ok .
After long travel we arrived 9pm ( six hours after allowed check in). Very unhappy clerk at the front desk informed us that the hotel was overbooked and understaffed, so our room Is not ready and she has no idea when its gonna get cleaned. Lobby was full of irritated people waiting for their rooms. We ended up booking another hotel. It would have been nice to get alerted to problems so we could find another place to sleep. They lost the two nights and any future stays with us.
Stayed one night for a family funeral the next day, along with 4 other family groups. My experience lowlights were being charged $23 for a below average breakfast buffet, insufficient lighting in the room. Can hotels please stop using these “energy saving” light bulbs or maybe put 2 more lamps in the room? The elevators were extremely slow with some trips including a 10 minute wait for an elevator. I was on the 2nd floor and willing to take the stairs but coming down none of the stairwells take you to the lobby, they all exit outdoors, some on the opposite side of the hotel from the front entrance. Not helpful on a rainy night when you forgot something in your car. There was no way to take stairs going up as none of them emptied into the lobby and all had self locking exterior doors. They had posted apology signs on the elevators referring to their 2026 Elevator Modernization Program, which apparently had not yet begun. They still had 1926 style elevator service.
The real nightmare was that two groups from my family who had reservations and couldn’t check in until 10:00 pm were told it would be “several hours” before a clean room would be available. The lobby was full of angry people being told the same thing. What kind of hotel cannot clean its rooms by midnight? It was as if their entire housekeeping staff quit that day, although the lobby angry mob was joined by a man who had been there 3 days and still had no clean towels so I think it was a longer term problem. My family members got a refund and went to a nearby Motel 6 which at leas t had room and towels, but no $23 breakfast.
Not enough options. No specialty creamers for coffee. Pastries were stale.
Lobby was hot, air conditioning was not working.
The pool was supposed to be heated. It was ice cold. Telephones did not work, elevator was very slow. There was a sign on the outside of the elevator to dial zero if there was an issue, but the phone in that area did not work. No cameras throughout the property. Guests smoking marijuana by the main entrance. This property is dated, unclean, and unsafe. Our first room was not cleaned properly. The shower had hair on the wall as if a razor was tapped on it. Cracked tile in the shower. A stained mattress. We informed the front desk. We were told the room would be cleaned and additional towels would be placed in our room. Upon returning to our room nine hours later. Our room had not been serviced. We had to go to the lobby to inform the front desk. They offered us a different room and free breakfast for the remainder of our stay. The new room was worse. Mold on the ceiling of shower. Cracked tile in shower. Knobs of sink were loose to a point when water was turned on the entire handle moved. Old food was left in the refrigerator from the previous guests. And again only one face towel for a king suite, two adults. And the breakfast tickets were only for the buffet not cook to order breakfast. The buffet consisted of powdered eggs, potatoes, raw bacon and stale pastries. The coffee was empty and they only offered plain creamer.
I arrived after check in to ensure my room will be ready for me after travel 2 hours. When I got here I was told by the manager on call that my suite isn’t ready and that she has no idea when it would be ready by due to understaffing. From 3:00PM to now 8:10 PM my room isn’t ready. I wasn’t compensated at all, just told by the manager “ you can cancel and book somewhere else if you need to.” At 8 PM ?! I then overhear her tell another guest coming to check in that it could be between 30 minutes to 2 hours. Definitely not 2 hours. Never staying here again. Completely unacceptable.
