Baymont by Wyndham Savannah Midtown

My husband and I, just checked in hotel, paid our money, got our luggage out the car and put it on their cart to go to 3rd floor to our room. Immediately coming off elevator, I got off 1st and went to the side. was waiting on my husband to get off with the cart, there was an aggressive big teeth, big face, big body RockWollier coming towards me very aggressively. His owner was trying to pull him and was trying to hold him, but the owner was a small man,and the big dog was pulling the owner...the dog was growling and showing all of his teeth. So I was able to get in a corner away from the dog, but by this time my husband is just coming off elevator not noing, and I called out to and said there was aggressive dog...but it was too late for the dog came aggressively to him...but the owner eventually was able to pull the doll onto the elevator. This was a very terrifying experience for me and my husband, for we both feared for our life. So we hurried to get to our room, fearing and trembling. So going down the hallway to our room, the hallway smelled heavily with weed smoking and with cigarette smoking. We booked this hotel, based on it's policy states NO PETS ALLOWED, AND THIS IS A NON SMOKING FACILITY. So Immediately after putting our things in room, we came back downstairs to tell them our experience. When I told one of the managers, his response to us was, "he will talk to the owner of the dog and tell him to be more careful" ,and he said " he will come up and spray the hallways with some air freshener spray to get rid of the smoking smells". I pull his hotel policy in my phone, and showed it to him, and but he didn't honor their own policy.

Guest upstairs walked hard so it was a little hard to sleep at times.

I had an overall positive stay at Baymont, and I truly appreciated how patient and understanding the front desk staff was when we needed extra time regarding payment. Having stayed at the hotel for nearly a month and a half, we always respected the policies and business operations.
However, my primary issue occurred during checkout. After being loyal, paying guests for six weeks, we were denied access to the main lobby restroom. Because we had children with us who urgently needed to use the facility, they were forced to use the bathroom outside. The owner’s lack of empathy and rigid attitude in that situation were extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

Smelled like weed. Shower didn’t get hot. Air conditioner rattled like it was coming off the wall.

Cockroaches not very clean and could do with painting.

Worst 7 days I ever had the whole time I couldn't rest or relax and enjoy my room because it sounded like a heard of Buffalo was running through the hotel all day and all night. I am respectfully asking for a full refund !!! I also had to move to another room because of the high level of NOISE NOISE all day..!!!

Staff is uninterested in assisting. Room smelled like mold and outside like weed. Creepy characters all around. Don't stay here with a family.

The breakfast offered on weekends is acceptable, with a reasonable selection that includes eggs and sausage. However, the weekday breakfast is considerably more limited, as eggs and sausage are not available. This makes the weekday options feel basic, lacking in variety, and somewhat below standard compared with what one would expect from a hotel breakfast. Improving the weekday selection by offering more substantial hot food options would greatly enhance the overall guest experience and provide better consistency throughout the week.
