Clean but soundproofing is very poor
Pros:

Great location and very clean

Cons:

Got given a room on the 4th floor and could hear every sound from outside including the 5:45am wake up from the garbage trucks that lasted around half an hour non stop. This made it very difficult to get a restful nights sleep.

comfortable, convenient but poor quality
Pros:

Convenient location and friendly staff

Cons:

Poor quality of cleaning - the bathroom needs the grout scrubbed to remove built up grime and mould. The Toilet bowl also needs to have mould removed.
No toaster, only 1 teaspoon and no plates at all, so nothing to eat off of in room.
Lift is extremely noisy.
This could be a really nice place if the cleaning was done properly.

We’d stay again but ask for a quiet location
Pros:

Great location for walking to restaurants, bars and shows in the top of Melbourne CBD.
Comfortable (but compact) rooms with good facilities. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Room 709 is right next to the elevator and overlooks a late-night bar opposite, so noise was an issue.

Melbourne City short break
Pros:

Great location for the Royal Exhibition buildings. Close to trams and Parliament Station. Comfortable bed and great shower. Fridge in room. Staffed 24/7.

Cons:

Not much space in bathroom for toiletries. Shower showing signs of mould.

10/10 great in every way
Pros:

The staff let us check in early which was lovely after coming to Melbourne on a very early flight.
The hotel is in a great central location and it was comfortable for our 3 day stay! Was also very fairly priced compared to alternative options, even being the Easter break :)
