Our room wasn't ready at check in but was clean when we did get in. Bed comfortable. Due to a police incident in the carpark we were unable to leave until Crime Scene Services had finished- The night wasn't boring!!

Ok but the rooms were very old, worn and tired, not at all like pictured. Disappointing
The apartment smelt terrible and wasn't overly clean. The balconies in particular were very dirty and did not look like they had ever been cleaned.
Upon arrival 3 of the doors that opened to the exterior were not locked or even fully shut.
The hallway leading to the apartment had several large holes in the wall and one large hole in the roof.
Communication with me was not great. They called to confirm my check in time and then continued to call me to ask the same thing, forgetting they had already communicated with me. I was not told how/where/when to check out.
The address listed on this property was about a block away from where the apartment actually was, as I did not have a car I then needed to carry several heavy bags quite far when I arrived and again to check out.
Overall a very disappointing stay and I would never recommend this apartment to anyone.
One of the main lights was constantly blinking and Iinformed the host that it needed to be fixed or we needed to be moved to another room as my wife was having an eye operation. We were told we had to wait until the next day but they assured us it would be fixed. I went down to the office 3 times during the day and there was never anyone there. I could have called, but really it was their responsibility to get back to me. I saw very few guest (probably due to COVID lockdown) so they really could have easily moved us to another room.
We had issues with our checkin. We travelled from Sydney from 4 am to be at the apartments at 2pm for the checkin time we were given - we had a function at 3.30.
1 hour from Melbourne we received a phone call to say that our room would not be available till 3.30 due to a “late checkout”.
We were eventually given another room to freshen up in ready for our function.
The real reason was a lack of staff to clean rooms.
The venue is well designed and has been a good venue. As a handyman by trade it is easy to see that things have been let go with the new owners- marks on walls, cheap K-Mart furniture, overgrown gardens, piles of sheets and towels in the car parks, tacky repairs on numerous things etc.
The owners need to know that spending money, makes money!
