Awesome stay
Pros:

El Escondite Calle 54 is a modern warehouse and a great hideaway for a few nights in San Jose. The rooms are clean and comfortable with plenty of HOT water and AC. Uber rides into the city are short and cheap, there is also a supermarket which is a 20 minute walk. Most impressive of all is the customer service from James (owner) and all his staff. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive to our needs and no request was too hard. The best customer service we have had on our trip. The local breakfast was very filling with plenty of options to suit your tastebuds. There is also a restaurant downstairs which serves a variety of options that are extremely flavoursome. We would definitely return when next in San Jose.
