According to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If a minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it is necessary to present a written authorization for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorization must be notarized and signed by both parents, and presented along with notarized copies of their IDs.

The hotel is excellent in every way - the location, the physical building , rooms, views and the staff are exceptional. Under a new chef the restaurant ARP is even better than before (try the pumpkin hummus ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)

Hotel boutique. Sofisticado. O hotel tem uma grande vantagem com relação a outros até de categoria superior porque fica à beira mar, ou seja, não há avenida na frente. Quando o cliente chega na recepção ver o mar na sua frente. É uma sensação de estar em um navio. Além disso, a gastromia, a harmonização de vinhos e pratos, é sensacional.
O atendimento, especialmente do sommelier; extremamente preparado e atencioso. Além dele, na recepção, fomos muito bem recebidas por Moyses, Alexandre e Marcus.

la persona que nos atendió el dia q llegamos me pareció encantadora, paciente y colaboradora y me hizo sentir muy bien, habiamos reservado la habitación 50, que me pareció espectacular por las vistas y la decoración, el desayuno muy completo, la piscina no la usamos porque llovía.
Cuando volví dos días mas tarde la persona de recepción fue profesional sin mas. Se nos estropeo el ascensor, y la habitación tenía ruido. Después de la habitación con vistas, supongo que las demás aunque estén bien, se quedan cortas.

Hotel Arpoador is unique in Rio. Its ON the beach. You don't have to cross the busy boulevard, just walk out of the hotel, cross the promenade and hit the beach. The hotel offers chairs, towels and umbrellas gratis. Julio was charming and helpful and even got us chairs on our last day when they weren't offered due to pending bad weather.
The hotel is small, intimate and personal. It is nestled along a stretch of high-end flats, walkable to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. It is just a couple of blocks from great local restaurants, bars and close to the Ipanema neighborhood shopping district. Walk out the front door and join the walkers, runners and bikers in the lane that runs along the beach.
We booked a beachfront large room. It wasn't big, but big enough. Being right on the beach, we heard the waves at night.
The included breakfast was ample and tasty. One morning, my wife and I shared one breakfast and took a breakfast sandwich for a lunch! The tables in the hotel building and on the promenade are comfortable and great for people-watching.
The staff was friendly, approachable and more that accommodating. Special thanks to Thiago and Marcus at the front desk and if you are enjoying the rooftop views, Cassius can make you a mean Amigo da Onça!
The location of this hotel at the end of Ipanema has the advantage of opening directly onto the beach, not crossing the big road. At breakfast you can hear the waves and the birds, not the traffic. The staff is exceptionally helpful and accommodating, including front desk/concierge, belhops, Arp restaurant, and the beach attendants (thanks to Júlio, Thiago, and many others). The cafe/restau is very good. Rooms are compact. All clean. Yoga on the roof deck was perfect start to the morning.
