It was under renovations so we couldn’t enjoy the facilities, we had to go to the neighbour hotel which was not far away but still.

The staff
We were informed that the reception was at the Beau Rivage since the Angleterre reception was being renovated a week before we were arriving. We booked months earlier.
Miss sold - breakfast and services were in fact provided by the neighbouring hotel Beau Rivage as the Angleterre is under renovation. One had to walk outside, cross a road and walk 200m.
A scandal! Booking.com should DELIST Hotel Angleterre - it is NOT a functioning hotel. And it makes Booking.com look really bad, especially in the 5 star category. If the hotel doesn’t wish to protect its own reputation, you guys should!
