great place in old Hanoi!
Pros:

The rooms were clean, very nice and the service was outstanding! It is within easy walking distance of the old section of Hanoi- shops, restaurants, the cathedral etc, and also easy walk to the lake. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff is very attentive. Highly recommend this if you want to experience old Hanoi!

Fabulous!
Pros:

We had a fabulous stay in the Gem suite. The room was fantastic! It was spacious. Bathroom was fully equipped. Wine and fruits on arrival. The hotel is well located. We were able to walk to all the sites. The staff was very friendly and went out of the way to be helpful. Morning breakfast was excellent. There was plenty to choose from and the food was delicious. The passion fruit yogurt was phenomenal.

A solid 9. I’d stay here again.
Pros:

Best hotel I’ve stayed in Vietnam. Modern, clean, great staff, delicious breakfast, amazing service, precise location, comfortable beds. The views from the pool are great at night.

Cons:

It’s still overpriced. I don’t appreciate receiving gifts in exchange for good reviews. I was going to give them a high score anyway. It seems to be a common practice in hotels in Hanoi, which is very annoying.

Comfortable stay

Great staff and location
Pros:

Great hotel! Location is ideal, a short walk or drive away from pretty much everything. There’s a rooftop pool with great views of the lake, and the breakfast is very good with a lot of variety. However, the best part with the hotel is the staff who’s very friendly and helpful.

Amazing stay at downtown Hanoi
Pros:

I know many hotels and restaurants now ASK YOU to give great reviews and, therefore, they (the reviews) less trustworthy, BUT our experience at the Oriental Jade Hotel (3 rooms, 4 nights) was extraordinary, from the kind service to the food, from the location to the massages, if we ever come back to Hanoi (and I hope we will) without any doubt we will arrive to this wonderful, local hotel.

Fabulous stay at the Original Jade Hotel
Pros:

Amazing hotel in a fantastic location in Old Town Hanoi. Walking distance to the lake and the bustling old town streets. Fabulous roof top bar and delicious breakfast! The staff were so friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. The room was big enough for the 3 of us with a modern bathroom. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you :)

Exceptional Service and a Perfect Location!
Pros:

I was looking for a 5-star hotel in a highly walkable area that still offered a safe, clean, and tranquil environment to relax in. The Oriental Jade Hotel checked every box. It is perfectly located in the Old Quarter, surrounded by major tourist attractions and just a few blocks from the lake and cathedral.

While friendly service is standard in Vietnam, the hospitality here is on another level. On my first night, I heard some street construction noise. At breakfast the next morning, the manager proactively approached me about the disturbance (which was entirely out of the hotel's control) and upgraded me to a higher-level suite free of charge. It turned on it was quiet after the first night.

That kind of guest-first mindset is rare. It’s easy to find a nice hotel in Vietnam, but for truly exceptional, proactive service, The Oriental Jade Hotel is my absolute top choice.
