Great relaxing stay in Tuscany, clean and large rooms, pool was the best part
Pros:

Hotel is situated above tuscan hills, beautiful views from the pool and our room was nicely located to the pool and restaurant. The room was large, very clean and comfortable. We were here with young children and the staff was very friendly and welcoming towards them. The property is still small enough kids can go and wonder around on their own easily. There are restaurants/grocery store within 5-10 minutes away we also utilized for eating out and visiting.

Cons:

We had dinner at the restaurant and while the portions were small, the prices were pretty steep. It is fine dining but I'm not sure it warrants such high prices. Luckily the local restaurant was only a 6min drive and we had a good time eating at the Groove, playing games and got gelato after. It's bice to have other options than just the hotel restaurant that had same menu for the few nights we were there.

This was not our first or even second time at this so-called "hotel." We used to return because things were acceptable and the staff seemed friendly. However, our recent experience has completely shattered any goodwill, revealing a place that has plummeted in quality and basic decency.

Our first major red flag was in a previous booking when unforeseen circumstances forced us to cancel. We contacted the hotel directly (via WhatsApp, as we were already acquainted) well in advance, hoping for understanding. The response was shockingly unprofessional and heartless: they bluntly stated it was "not their problem," told us to deal with Booking.com, and i refused any refund. We lost our money and wasted hours in futile communication. Their true colors were starting to show.

Despite this, we foolishly gave them another chance on January 3rd, 2026. Big mistake.

· Breakfast Catastrophe: The once-delicious and plentiful breakfasts have become an inedible joke. We were served undercooked, runny eggs, a pathetic selection of food, and the same monotonous, unappetizing options every single day. It's a blatant downgrade and an insult to paying guests.
· Petty and Hostile Check-Out: On our departure day, we were 25 minutes behind schedule. We received an aggressive call from reception demanding we leave. We were out within 15 minutes of that call. Their response? To charge us for a late checkout without a single ounce of flexibility or courtesy. This is how you treat loyal, returning guests? It's pure pettiness and greed.
· Dangerous and Neglected Facilities: A serious warning to future visitors: your safety is at risk here. The showers are dangerously faulty. The temperature violently fluctuates from cold to scalding hot without warning. Furthermore, the showerhead leaks profusely, flooding the entire bathroom floor and creating a major slipping hazard.
