Convenable car les chambres sont spacieuses mais simple,velles donnant côté rue sont assez bruyantes. A côté il y a de quoi trouver le petit déjeuner

Do not stay in this hotel!!! Fake good reviews probably written by the staff! We checked out as soon as we checked in and saw the room! Been travelling around for 3 months in different countries and this is by far the worst we have ever come across! Mold on the walls, dirty & the bed was like lying on a plank of wood! Looks nothing like the pictures & even the lady at reception was rude! Shouted at us when we arrived to cancel on booking.com & pay with them & when we showed her the dirt in the room she was rude to us! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, so many other good hotels around it with clean & comfy beds! We checked out & into a new one straight away for the same price & it was exactly what you’d expect it to be! VERY DISAPPOINTING and yet to received our refund!

We arrived and checked out straight away.
The room was very dirty, layers of dust everywhere and stains. The room had clearly been left and not touch in a while. The walls had mold on them and a funny smell.
The bed mattress was like lying on a plank of wood.
There is no excuse for poor hygiene levels, it takes at little as half an hour to clean a room.
Do not waste your money as there are a lot better hotels which are spotless for the exact same price or less…believe me.

The night started with the power in our room tripping. Which was understandable as it was raining. We asked to be put in another room as we had seen that booking.com had rooms still available. After discussing with the manager (who clearly didn't know if there were even rooms available), we were able to get another room. On two occasions though, a young boy who was obviously the night manger (who could not speak a word of English) came and knocked on our door. Once at around 8:00 pm, and again at 11pm!! For very poor reasons!! Which was due to very poor communication between staff and very poor customer service. The room was nothing like the photos and was filthy. Then, when checking out in the morning, the same (night manager) was sleeping on the couch in the reception area. He did not say barely a word to me, grabbed the key off me, and went back to sleep on the couch again.
Do not advise this hotel.

The staff were nice enough. The room was absolute filth. Mould in the bathroom and bedroom. Had a much more comfortable stay at a Hostel down the road. Do not recommend.

402の部屋に宿泊しましたが、シャワー室の排水が悪く水がたまり　トイレまで水浸しになった。トイレの水のたまる音なのか　ポトポト音が気になった。シャワールームの掃除がされてなかった。
202の部屋のWiFiがつながらなかった。
いろいろありすぎたて　思い出が沢山残るホテルになりました。

The property is centrally located. Daily? Room servicing was unreliable, had to ask for sheets to be changed after 10 days. Shower drain mostly blocked, toilet not cleaned, toilet paper had to repeatable ask for.

Perfect for a quick recovery on our way out of Hanoi

Lots of noise at night, staff didn’t remove the portable bed after committing, fid not understand English properly

Central location. Good customer service.

This hotel is ok if you’re not terribly fussy. Close to the old town. The people are friendly but the advertised free breakfast is non-existent. It’s a bit shabby, the shower is a bit hit and miss. However the rooms are a good size and they are cool. There’s not too much noise from the very busy street.

They should try to be smart, very smart. Especially the bathroom. They should replenish toiletries as well as scrub the toilet floor and walls so that clients plan to come back or refer other people. They should also sweep the room floors everyday when there is a client. They should be professional especially on the reception area. They should buy proper detergents not user old containers over and over again to refill.

They are nice people but dirty.

Overall stay was pleasant. Staff was friendly. Lift very smooth. No issues.
Only negative is that the bathroom was not as clean as photos presented, and there were ants.

The photos used for reference is not accurate. This hotel has seen better days. The shower and bathroom sinks haven't been cleaned in years covered in soap scum and the tiles were lifted off the floor with dirt coming out of the cracks. There were also holes and cracks in the walls with ants coming out of the opening.

Also we booked a king bed plus 2 twins and it turned out to be one twin bed and one cot. We specified that we booked based on the bed listing but they informed us there is no room with 3 actual beds. Expedia really needs to change that as it is inaccurate info.

We pre-paid for 4 nights and left after the first night. They would not refund us even with the issues we outlined. The front desk in the evening was very unpleasant. While we were trying to check out, I asked if we're good to leave after we returned the key, she said to wait and then started ordering food on her phone. We just took our belongings and left.

I have never given a bad review before but I do think its the hotels responsibility to have proper cleaning and sanitizing of the rooms as well as pest control. I was in Vietnam for 3 weeks and no other lodging had issues. It needs to be properly maintained with the bare minimums and fix all the walls and floors.

Me and my family (including elderly) gone through a 8 hours tiring bus journey from Sapa to this hotel, and we have been told that they cancelled our booking right before 1 hour of our arrival WITHOUT ANY REASON GIVEN. When we complained to the customer service, the staff just said manager went home and he has no contact number of his manager. It is RIDICULOUS and IMPOSSIBLE a staff working and do not have contact number of their superior for emergency purposes! Plus, the staff was irresponsible, zero effort in helping us to resolve the booking cancellation issue, and totally ignoring us! Poor management and bad customer service!

IF YOU STILL INSIST BOOKING THIS HOTEL AFTER SEEING MY REVIEW, TAKE YOUR OWN RISK!!!

バスタオルは糸が抜けるし、接客は1人以外は最低　夜中は子守りの合間の対応で無愛想。シャワーの温水は5分も保たないです。

My phone was stolen on my first night in Hanoi. It was a very stressful experience, and I’m so grateful for the assistance of the Hanoi Gatsby throughout my stay. Hui, the hotel manager, translated my experience for the police officers and stayed for several hours to ensure the report was correct. The hotel receptionist met with officers to complete the translation. Hui even returned to the police station a few days later to obtain the final report on my behalf.

The service and hospitality of this hotel is truly above and beyond anything I could have expected. Their service, coupled with the hotel’s offerings - clean, bright rooms and a great location - made my experience so different from what it could have been. I highly recommend Hanoi Gatsby and will certainly return if given the opportunity.

I have been to Gatsby hotel for 2day. Service is good. But location and hotel room is totally bad for me. So crowded and rooms got some smell don't know what kind of smell. Bed is not comfortable and room is not clean. Maybe price is a-bit cheaper then other hotels but i will prefer to pay more 100,200dong to stay other hotel.

Great location and friendly staff. It was just a few minutes away from the lake.
