This hotel needs some serious TLC!
Pros:

This hotel definitely needs a serious makeover! The rooms are very dated, many things are NOT working and it has a very strong musty smell. Housekeeping is terrible. There were leftover food in the fridge from previous stays and did not get removed even with multiple asks during a 5 day stay. Shower gel containers are empty, not tissue paper and had to ask 4 times to have house keeping. House keeping did not clean the bathroom at all, just put a stack of towers on the sofa , didn’t empty garbage cans , just left a couple of garbage bags on the desk, expecting the customer to empty them??? Carpets are old and dirty, fixtures are very dated. Find it hard to believe this hotel is part of the Hilton chain.

Needs significant improvement.
Pros:

I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Cincinnati RiverCenter, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The one positive aspect of our stay was the staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful. However, the overall condition of the hotel did not meet expectations. The rooms did not feel properly cleaned or prepared, and several basic amenities were either missing or not functioning. We encountered issues such as dirty rooms, bathroom problems, toilet handles coming loose, bathtubs clogged and missing basic toiletries such as toilet paper, Kleenex and hand soap,
Our group had approximately 40 guests staying at the hotel, and based on what I heard from others, nearly half experienced similar concerns, with some needing to request room changes or ask for maintenance to come to their rooms. Because our trip was booked more than a month in advance, I expected the block of rooms to be inspected and ready before arrival. Simple details, such as ensuring basic toiletries were available, make a significant difference in how guests feel when they arrive.
While I appreciate the kindness of the staff, the hotel itself needs noticeable improvement in cleanliness, room readiness, maintenance, and inventory control. Guests should not have to begin their stay by reporting basic issues that should have been addressed ahead of time. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and uses it as an opportunity to improve the guest experience moving forward.

Poor Experience
Pros:

The room was spacious but had a horrible damp smell. The front desk was rude and provided absolutely no information related to the hotel. I have stayed at 10 separate embassy suites around the country and this was undoubtedly the worst.

Solid lodging option for downtown Cincinnati
Pros:

Solid lodging option for downtown Cincinnati. Located on the Covington, Kentucky riverfront at the base of the picturesque and iconic 150+ year old Roebling suspension bridge, the prototype for the larger Brooklyn Bridge, with great views of the Ohio river and downtown Cincinnati. Standard embassy suites operation with oversized room/suite with a central courtyard. Service at this location was friendly and efficient. The included breakfast, with made to order omelets, was better than average. Well performing air condition. Short ride to Ballpark.

Do not stay here
Pros:

This is an absolute disgrace to Hilton. First of all the rooms need to be renovated, the AC in the room where the beds are did not work, and there was a high pitch beeping sound all night. breakfast closed early because they ran out of food and the lines to get food was long because they couldn’t keep up with the guests coming through. They ran out of coffee it was difficult to find a seat to ear breakfast because spots had not been cleaned from previous guests eating. Not impressed!

Treat costumers better!!
Pros:

Big.. bright.. comforting..

Cons:

When we first got there, there was an extremely ride gentlemen. Pretty much talked down to us. Computers were down but said that there was nothing he could do. (No pool, no way to give us passes for garage) we wee leaving for a concert so needed to freshen up after a 4 hour drive.

Not even 15 minutes later we were in restroom and cleaning up/getting ready and another worker said she was pretty sure computers are back up and she could help. She was super NICE, very helpful, gave us all kinds of info on things to do & places to eat. Yes we were there before 4 but asked for early arrival.. (I know it isn’t promised but certainly didn’t need to be rude)

We feel breakfast should be served a tad longer..
room smelled like meldew.. and air conditioner didn’t get very cold..

Feel 470.00 was way high for the way we were treated when we got there, the smell and air.. and breakfast being over so soon.. most likely wouldn’t stay at this location again. Price worth it if treated better!

Stay at a hotel that cares
Pros:

Beware!!
We went for a family reunion. 27 rooms booked and all Issues!!!

1. Our food that we purchased would be our “secure room”. It was not. It was set up in a public area and people outside our reunion thought it was free food. Freeloaders
2. Our room with our valuables again would be secure. Our room was devoured for the first night with a ZIPTIE - yes that is what you read and we were told no one could get in by their employee. The ZIPTIE was on for the night and never again. Maybe the reason was because their staff was told that snacks were available in our room so they helped themselves! Thieves!!
3. The lights went out and their staff disappeared for the night. No updates no information no staff. Again our room was unsecured. My sister and I didn’t trust them so we had to carry heavy bins up 7 flights of stairs. It was Juneteenth weekend and hot and we were without air and lights for the rest of the night through checkout. What did they say? What’s your room number? Took the keys and said thank you. Nothing about the issue. Nothing about a credit. Nothing about anything. Called the hotel and the GM still missing. Probably at the Bananas game
They will just give everyone 5000 points. Wow! What a way to treat our group!

I have contacted the hotel. Nothing but the runaround and Corporate who directed me back to the useless hotel. Stay somewhere else.

Great Stay on the River
Pros:

This was my second stay at Embassy Suites Rivercenter - both times for work.

I enjoyed both stays and despite the building showing its age, it is clean, comfortable, and in a great location on the river overlooking the Cincinnati skyline. The walk across the bridge into Cincinnati is a short, fun experience with several good eateries just on the other side of the water.

This time, I ate at the hotel’s restaurant and enjoyed it very much. The bar in the lobby is a great place to have a few cocktails and dinner.

I’d definitely stay here again if/when given the opportunity. The staff is attentive and friendly and the rooms large and clean.

Clean, comfortable, convenient, average
Pros:

Some good and some not so at this well located, riverfront, property convenient to both Covington and downtown Cincinnati.
They have done a nice job with this old style Embassy Suites. Rooms are up to date, large, clean and comfortable. Great shower, nice lobby bar, good views. Not impressed with the front desk team, they were professional but not warm and friendly, they were unconcerned when we raised issues with the TV service and room availability at check in, they didn’t have answers and did not seem empowered to solve problems. Breakfast was mixed, good one one day, ran out of coffee on the next. Banquet/ convention team was very friendly and accomodating. The omelette lady at breakfast was a true all star- everyone in my conference was talking about her. She is a true ambassador and her omelettes are top class. Overall ok stay, location supports the highish rate, but the front desk, the issues at check in, breakfast concerns, no intermittent broadcast tv outages, and a sticking door that you have to be sure is closed, do not support that rate. I would stay again for convenience but it wouldn’t be my first choice
