thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Caftan Cave Suites and was genuinely sad when the time came to leave. Any inquiries I made via WhatsApp prior to my arrival were answered promptly, which made planning my stay very easy.
The staff were exceptionally welcoming and always willing to go out of their way to assist. When the hairdryer in my room stopped working, it was replaced with a brand-new one within minutes. My room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the décor was beautiful. The location is ideal, with plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.
Unfortunately, the weather was quite cool and rainy during my visit, so I didn’t have the opportunity to fully enjoy the beautiful terrace or take a hot-air balloon ride. That simply means I’ll need to return to complete the Cappadocia experience! I did, however, enjoy the wonderful breakfast each morning. Mia, the hotel's adorable resident dog, also added a special touch to my stay.
A few minor areas could be improved. The bathroom lighting was too dim for applying makeup, and the shower drain did not drain particularly well. In addition, while it wasn’t a major issue for me, the stairs leading to Room 104 were quite steep and could be challenging for guests with mobility concerns. I was very grateful for the assistance provided with my luggage.

The staff were so kind and helpful! Shout out to Turgun and Apo for making my birthday evening unforgettable. The breakfast provided was made with love and really opened my palate to new things. Delicious. The rooftop has great views to witness the hot air balloon sunrise. Definitely wake up at 5am to see this! I also love how they have a luxury store on the first level of the hotel. Such great quality pieces. I treated myself to a new purse :)) & there’s a dog on the property, Mia. She’s so sweet lol
The drain in the sink and shower needed clearing. Other than that, great place.

La ubicación y el encanto de la terraza. El desayuno estaba rico y la habitación y baño era amplia. La atención del personal fue excepcional, todos muy agradables.
La almohada era malísima, se hundía. Se escuchaba todo, la ducha de la habitación de al lado y las sillas del comedor de arriba.

We had a great stay. The breakfast was great, the room interior was beautiful and very clean. The rooftop was lovely at night, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is also perfectly located, just a short walk from the town centre with shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

All the staff were super helpful and our stay was memorable. We stayed for three nights with family and Turgon, Ayse, Zeynab, Sara and Ahmed everyone was amazing in their own way. They all were friendly and helpful every time we requested something

I didn't like the facilities and even less the fact that they took the air conditioning service out of operation, claiming the hotel's "winter policy", even though autumn has barely started and the low temperatures are far from arriving here... I asked them twice to reconsider and they told me to use a fan; result: I literally lost 3 nights of sleep - very little empathy from this hotel towards its guests
It was so hard choosing a hotel since there were sooo many options, but I’m so glad we chose Caftan Caves for our stay. We booked the honeymoon suite, which included a private balcony. The suite was spacious and clean, and the entire design of the hotel is so unique. They also have an excellent view of the hot air balloons in the morning, which made the experience even more magical. Their restaurant is beautifully lit at night and has views of the iconic scenery, making every meal feel special. They also have such a great restaurant!
Hamza, Turgun, and the entire team made the stay truly memorable. The cave rooms were cozy and unique, offering an authentic Cappadocia stay. What truly stood out was the warm hospitality from the staff, they were so kind and accommodating throughout my visit. Turgun was especially kind and helped us arrange both the shuttle and our hot air balloon trip. We were worried about missing our flight the next morning if we did the balloon tour, but he took care of everything, and since we were going to miss breakfast, he even arranged for sandwiches to take with us.A special thank you as well to Zeynep, who prepared the most amazing breakfast, it was always fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to start each day while enjoying the incredible views.
Highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and unforgettable experience! Most people come to Cappadocia for a few days so it’s crucial to get your hotel right!
