Everything Perfect Except Arrival
Pros:

Very stylish hotel, rooms, facilities. International Chic, approaching minimalist.

Very comfortable bed with crisp linen.

Excellent meal at main restaurant (it should be on Google Maps, but isn’t, and the name isn’t visible on any sign I could find) and in the Lounge. Breakfast eggs Benedict were not correctly poached (white was uncooked) and the Hollandaise had no taste. The Michelin-starred restaurant was closed during both the days I stayed.

Free EV fast charging in the basement garage. Lots of chargers.

Cons:

Arrival instructions non-existent. I arrived at 2:30 pm in pouring rain and found the front gate easily enough but it was closed (why closed at the time most guests arrive?) Eventually I found the inconspicuous door buzzer, which didn’t react to anything I did, so I pulled back and tried to find another means of entry. I drove up the hill, down the hill, then back to the gate. Another guest who had arrived in the interim got the gate opened, so I was finally able to enter, 15 minutes after I arrived. The inner driveway does not drain properly, so there was almost 1-inch deep rainwater.

Management later explained there was a power glitch (affecting only the gate buzzer). But when I asked why the gate was closed at all, no one had an answer.

Pros:

The room and facilities are great. The pool with the outdoor views are amazing and breathtaking. The resort is extremely clean.

Cons:

The room did not have cold A/C while the weather outside went to 28 and 29 degrees. Nights were hard for us to sleep due to this. We tried to open the balcony for air circulation during the middle of the night (not ideal), and it didn’t work well.
During the daytime, we couldn’t stay in the room honestly.

When we booked our massages in the Spa, the massage did not take up the full length of the therapy (50 mins). When we rebooked and ensured on them to continue the 50 mins, they said that the 50 mins will include the changing time, which is something i have never experienced before while traveling and going to many hotels and spas around the world.

Food service was good, but the food itself was average at best.

Luxurious spa and resort hotel nestled in a quaint alpine town
Pros:

From the staff to the rooms, everything about Lefay exceeded our expectations, especially since we were travelling there on our honeymoon. Communication was excellent and the service was exceptional, with rooms that were not only comfortable and cosy, but also luxurious with amazing views of the alps and overlooking the town below. The location is also quite ideal if you want to explore the area, as the hotel is easily accessible.

There are also a lot of activities you can partake in; I recommend the walks as you can see more of the area and town itself.

The spa and pool are the oustanding features of this hotel, and you must visit at least once to experience them for yourself.

Cons:

Nothing much, though portions at the restaurant could be larger.

- Grosszügige, komfortable Zimmer mit hochwertigem Badezimmer
- Freundlicher und grundsätzlich zuvorkommender Service
- Sehr gutes Frühstück im Dolomia
- Schöne Pool- und Saunalandschaft mit hohem Erholungsfaktor sowie grosszügiger und vielseitiger Spa-Bereich
- Geschmacklich gutes Essen sowohl im Dolomia als auch im Grual
- Insgesamt hohe Aufenthaltsqualität und modernes Ambiente

Cons:

- Teilweise fehlendes Feingefühl beim Service trotz hohem Preisniveau (z.B. Zusatzverrechnung für Kännchen Hafermilch bei Allergie wirkt kleinlich)
- Dolomia preislich eher teuer und Grual erfüllt den Anspruch eines Sternerestaurants nur eingeschränkt (ins. Grual: 30min Wartezeit bis zum ersten Aperitif, Menüdauer mit min. 3,5 Stunden deutlich zu lang, Allergien konnten trotz Voranmeldung kaum berücksichtigt werden
- Sprachbarrieren (Englisch/Deutsch) im Spa-Bereich unpassend für diese Hotelkategorie
- „Aromatherapy“ als Whirlpoolbad entsprach nicht den Erwartungen und wirkte unterdurchschnittlich
- Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in einzelnen Bereichen nicht ganz stimmig/überrissen

Un luogo in cui è tutto come vuoi tu
Pros:

Tutto meraviglioso, dall’accoglienza alla pulizia e al comfort della camera, alla spa, alla colazione, alla location. Ci hanno addirittura ricaricato gratuitamente l’auto elettrica per evitare ci farci fermare al rientro. Impeccabile. Lascia sereni e coccolati anche nel ricordo quando si è a casa. Grazie di cuore
