The Oberoi Mumbai

5/5 would recommend this hotel to everyone staying in Mumbai. We wanted to give positive compliments to the following staff, who went above and beyond in every way to make our stay exceptional. Shivam gave us such amazing personalized attention during breakfast / dinner shifts, and made us feel truly at home. Anthony was also amazing during breakfast and served my wife and I with a smile. Marina made our room absolutely exceptionally clean and always welcomed my wife and I so warmly each time we saw her on the 15th floor. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable. Lavnish at the front desk tended to each one of our requests so diligently and warmly. He is a true professional who granted all of our requests without any hassle. Prajwal and Deepak (driver) ensured that a personal car was arranged to deliver our items we accidentally left behind at the Oberoi right in time for our flight. You couldn't ask for better service - my wife and I have never seen this hospitality before, and wanted to personally thank each and everyone of these staff members for going above and beyond for us. We will absolutely be back at the Oberoi next time we are in Mumbai.

My family recently stayed at the Oberoi Hotel Mumbai to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. We were lucky to get the ocean facing suits which were in great demand at all times.
We had a great experience of check in with a complimentary welcome drink. We were escorted to our suites by the hotel staff.
The accommodation was very nice and neatly arranged.
Our stay was quite pleasant as the hotel staff were very polite and friendly and very attentive.
The food was very good from the In Room Dining Service as well as at FENIX restaurant.
We enjoyed the hospitality and the food very much and we were very impressed with the quality of service provided by the team led by the Vice President and General Manager Mr. Amit Kaul who we found a decent gentleman mostly friendly with the guests and the staff.
We were very pleased with our stay and have no hesitation to recommend that the travelers should stay at the Oberoi Mumbai to experience a joyful stay in Mumbai.

My husband and I stayed at the Oberoi Mumbai for a couple of nights in March 2026 to celebrate our one year marriage anniversary. We were visiting from NYC. Let me start by saying we have stayed at many nice hotels but never in our lives experienced hospitality like this. The Oberoi staff, especially Lavnish, Marina, Shivam, and Durva made our stay the most memorable, warm, and overly generous service we have ever experienced. The staff were so attentive to our every need and made our stay one we will remember for the rest of our lives. We will certainly be back at the Oberoi, not just because of the quality of the hotel, but because of the STAFF! We will always remember the warmth, generosity, and kindness of every single staff member we came across. Oberoi Mumbai, you have raised the bar very very high! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. The attention to detail from all staff — from top to bottom — was outstanding. Everyone consistently checked in to see how we were doing and whether they could help in any way.

It made the whole experience feel welcoming, professional, and genuinely customer-focused.

It's a memorable stay experience. At Mumbai airport Mr Sahil had asisted me. He was waiting near the baggage belt for me already I got the message from him. We both collect the my laggage and move toward exit gate. He had drop me to the car in the parking area there Mr Augustin had keep the car ready and we had move toward the hotel. It was a comfortable ride. Concierge team had send the email with the complete detail information regarding the exit gate no.   Car no. Driver details  car wifi password etc. In hotel in lower lobby Mr Nabeel was ready with the check in  formalities & assisted me to the room. In lobby Ms Noor had welcome me with her gorgous smile. Mr Mahesh had taken care of my laggage. Housing keeping  team had made my stay memorable as i had arrived 2 day before my birthday they beautifully decorated my room with the balloon and place a cake with a birthday wish in advance but they didnot mension there name hence thank to entire house keeping team for making my stay memorable. Mr Thennu, Shubhankar and Ms Sawmi, Maria, Ram Aro Puii , Senso from house keeping had made my 3 night stay comfortable. On 24th feb I was in my room attending call and writing something on laptop and Ms Senso was doning house keeping in my room she come to me with the 2 rose flower and wish me happy birthday it was the most suprising moment i was shocked and  i replied thank you with you permission can i click your pic and can you repeat it again she cutely replied yes sir. Thank you Ms Senso for giving me beautiful and memoriable moment of 2026. In laundry Mr. Tejas & Samarendra from laundry had iron my cloth so perfectly.  As i had made a request to Mr Varun Sharma to extend my stay till 25th feb he had extent it. I had find him alway in the lobby area taking care of guest with the beautiful smile. He had made my stay comfortable and memorable from check inn to checkout . Breakfast  in fenix was refreshing & delicious Ms Sidharth Malhotra, shobhit, Prashant, Chef kranti, Samiksha & Ms Elzee had find a table for me. After breakfast on 24th morning they had celebrated my birthday with a delicious cake Mr Sidharth Malhotra requested my to stay there and wait for him. After few min Later he came with the birthday cakeand i celebrated my birthday with Mr Sidharth, Shobit and the entire Fenix team. Eau bar on 23th evening i had host my birthday party and my guest had enjoyed it . After party I had got the suprised by the entire eau bar team and they had bring birthday cake and i had cut my first birthday cake with them. Ms Larissa had made my birthday evening melodious. In the night time Mr Lavnish had assist me to my room and he sing a song. I am impressed with his singing skill. In the front office everyone is ready to assist. Ms asoni, Mr Meet had made my checkout hasselfree and i had taken the hotel car for the airport drop.

The hotel provides a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. The rooms are well-appointed, we stayed in a suite, the staff is highly accommodating, although the service may be slow at times. It is a recommended choice for those seeking a serene environment amidst the chaos of the city.

We were so plesently surprised to get flowers and have the full room decorated as we were celebrating our 35th Anniversary. The staff had left a cake for us to enjoy. Thanks you soo much to the Oberoi staff for this warm welcome. The cleaning lady, she was on top of everything- got water delivered and made sure that everything was need and tidy.
We enjoyed our stay a lot.
Also a huge thank you to the baggage team that received our packages we had ordered and got delivered to our room with no hassle.

Although the price was high, the staff and service were excellent and it was well worth it.
First of all, they gave us a free room upgrade.
A receptionist gave my son a toy penguin, and every receptionist was always smiling and helpful.
The housekeepers tidied our room several times a day and prepared an extra bed without us having to ask. They also gave us many souvenirs they thought we might need, based on our belongings. My son received another plush toy.

At Restaurant ZIYA, when our son fell asleep, we asked the staff for a blanket, and they lent us a high-quality scarf. When we asked where we could buy one, they said, "Please take it," and gave it to us as a souvenir. We were so touched.
At Restaurant VETRO, they not only prepared dishes that weren't on the menu for my son, but also served them free of charge. When we ordered a bottle of wine, they served us a luxurious cheese plate and tea after the meal.
The morning buffet was delicious and amazing. The masala dosa was especially delicious. A female cook took the time to remove watermelon seeds for my son every morning. She even stopped by to say hello at dinner time at Vetro and gave my son some chocolate, and when we checked out, she gave us some takeaway.
We were also able to extend our check-out time until 3 PM for free, which was great. It was a huge help and allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves at the hotel.
Almost everything was perfect, and it made us want to come back to Mumbai JUST to stay at Oberoi.

I recently stayed at The Oberoi Mumbai for a work trip and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel offers the perfect environment for business travelers efficient service, elegant rooms, and a calm, professional atmosphere.

We recently stayed for one night at The Oberoi Mumbai, and it was an exceptional experience from beginning to end.

What truly stood out was the team’s professionalism even before arrival — they contacted us nearly a month in advance to ensure all our preferences were taken care of. We were celebrating our anniversary and our son’s birthday, and the hotel went above and beyond with beautiful decorations, cakes, and flowers waiting in our room. We were also kindly upgraded to a spacious suite with stunning views of the sea and city.

The room was spotless, spacious, and very well-appointed with excellent amenities. The hotel has a quiet atmosphere with a modern yet luxurious feel throughout.

The location is incredibly convenient — the marina walk is just across the street, and the surrounding area feels very safe and comfortable for walking. This made exploring especially enjoyable.

In-room dining was excellent, breakfast was wonderful, and every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and attentive. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless.

Even though our stay was short, it was incredibly meaningful. We highly recommend experiencing a stay here and look forward to returning for a longer visit.

Everything. I stay a lot at 5 stars for work. The Oberoi is in the league of its own. Absolutely brilliant. The property is spacious, airy and naturally lit. The views are beautiful. The service is impeccable.
