On s’attend presque à voir arriver à petits pas pressés, tout amidonnés de dignité précieuse et malicieuse, Hercule Poirot flanqué de son fidèle Hastings 📺 Mais où donc est passée Miss Lemon, on se le demande 🧐

- À quelques minutes à pied des centres d’intérêt de Colaba

Cons:

Ma chambre donnait sur le côté nord avec vue imprenable sur des immeubles laids et d’affreux toits plats. Il vaut la peine de descendre à l’Oberoi que si la chambre donne sur la mer. Sinon c’est trop cher.

Le personnel est presque trop présent. Surtout au restaurant. J’ai dégusté le menu indien de midi au Zyia. 14 plats dont évidemment je n’ai pu manger que la moitié 🤭 Le va-et-vient du personnel et l’attention du personnel étaient presque gênants pour moi.

Disappointing and disrespectful

Almost everything except the staff.

Cons:

Despite the booking being in my name, the reception staff repeatedly addressed me as Mrs. [partner’s last name] even after I corrected them multiple times. They continued to default to my male partner’s name, which felt unprofessional and dismissive.

At checkout, despite only one room being booked and the bill being fully paid by me, I was asked if my partner would be paying separately, which was confusing and unnecessary. I also did not receive the invoice at checkout. When requested later, it was issued in my partner’s name and has still not been corrected despite follow-ups for over 10 days.

This lack of attention to detail and basic respect significantly impacted an otherwise comfortable stay.
