Magischer Ort zum Entspannen
Pros:

Schöne, gepflegte Anlage mit eigener Kapelle und einer süßen Schildkröte, die im Garten lebt. Ein Hit für unsere Kinder. Gutes Restaurant und freundliches Personal. Viele Parkplätze.

Cons:

We weren’t expecting the rooms to be WiFi free but it was available everywhere else in the building and there were plenty of communal spaces so it was no problem at all.

Ondanks de warmte in de nacht, genoten van de overnachtingen.
Pros:

Mooie locatie en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Ook het Hotel had een zeer mooie uitstraling.

Cons:

De familiekamer was enorm warm en dan is 1 ventilator vrij beperkt als je met 4 personen op de kamer slaapt.

Dort würde ich gerne zurück kehren.
Pros:

Ein ganz besonders gelungene Umwidmung eines Klosters in eine Hotelanlage. Das Personal war excellent!
Auch meine Wäsche wurde gewaschen.

Cons:

Der Denkmalschutz verhindert wohl Insektengitter am Fenster. Das WLAN ist nur umständlich zu nutzen.
Das angekündigte „Buffet“ zum Abendessen war vielversprechender, als die Wirklichkeit.

Angenehm aber nichts im Sommer wegen vielen Mücken
Pros:

Angenehme Reduktion auf das Wesentliche, tägliche Andachten (wer möchte)

Cons:

Ausserordentlich viele Mücken im Sommer - Fenster kann praktisch nicht geöffnet werden.
Durch das stehende Wasser im Goldfischbecken des Innenhofs werden die Mücken direkt gezüchtet…

Two nights in a charming setting
Pros:

Calm and tranquil, beautiful building , wonderful scenery high above lac leman
Staff welcoming and a perfect place to come after a busy day sightseeing .
It is a retreat as well as a hotel so you respect the calmness of the place and it in turn makes for a peaceful haven after a busy day
The dinner it’s a set menu no choice but three course and tasty and for Switzerland the price is very reasonable. The breakfast is included in the stay price and is varied and and the view from the dining room is rural . The room price for Switzerland is also very good and actually it is a quirky
Place full of character which I like as so many hotels are bland . It has cloisters and a chapel and a meditation route in the grounds . I think for a short drive up from the lake thru winding vineyards it’s well worth the fifteen minute drive to stay in such a stunning building with a history behind it. It’s close to the Charlie Chaplin museum which is worth a visit about 15 mnsbin the car .
I’d certainly stay again if I was in this area .

Pros:

Die Ruhe und die Einfachheit der Unterkunft. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Zimmer war einfach, aber sauber. Da nur nach Voranmeldung gekocht wird, wusste man nicht, was es zum Abendessen gab, wir haben uns überraschen lassen und es war sehr gut!

Such a peaceful location. The food and service were excellent. We canceled one day's plans just to spend the day there. Beautiful, large property with good views. Shuttle service helped to reach the train station.

Cons:

Make sure to ask for a taxi service if you arrive at night. The hotel provided a great driver upon request. Walking with suitcases is not advised.
