According to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If a minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it is necessary to present a written authorization for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorization must be notarized and signed by both parents, and presented along with notarized copies of their IDs.
All minors under 18 years of age also need to present a valid ID with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. This must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents.
In the case of a minor accompanied by only one of the parents, it is necessary to present a notarized authorization signed by the absent parent, along with a notarized copy of that parent's ID.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Buenas instalaciones, hotel y restaurante
Location was excellent, on the Copacabana sea front. There was a good taxi rank right in front. The decor was garish and generic but well used and went with the vibe of the place. Breakfast was good and varied with lots of options of fruits, juices, bread and cooked dishes.
The photo of the room was very deceptive. They used the term 'ocean side' to describe the room that hid the fact that despite it being on the part of the building that faced the sea, the room was at the back of a narrow gap, so the sea view was actually a very small strip between 2 buildings. When I complained with reception they gave me all manner of excuses. It was only when I threatened to block payment for false advertising that they accepted moving me to another room. It was larger but the view was still not correspondent to the image used.

The personnel is very nice.
The hotel is in need of renovation. Also some the rooms with a side view to the beach are really dark. Choose left side and a close as possible to beach.
Un hôtel qui n’est pas entretenu , des installations branlantes dans la salle de bain, un ménage qui laisse à désirer. Très décevant malgré un personnel sympathique et un emplacement agréable.
