Cons:

I was told there was electric car charging at the hotel. It was not working and the hotel reaction to this was very disappointing. It result in additional 3hrs travel time home, which really changed the travelling experience.

Fabulous family hotel right by the beach
Pros:

The hotel is in a fantastic location and the family room was extremely spacious and comfortable. The restaurant on reception level had a great menu and a nice-fancy atmosphere. The hotel car park is also a great thing to have. When there was an issue, the staff were very quick and thorough to sort it out. The cooked breakfast buffet was good.

Cons:

The bathroom in the family room really doesn't match the rest of the hotel. Very old-fashioned, short shallow bath, fixed shower and the shower curtain is installed far too close to the wall and will always cling to you.
The breakfast had slightly fewer options than we hoped. No chocolate spread and only one kind of ham and cheese.

Brilliant Staff.
Pros:

We had an amazing time here, will definitely come back. Mark the F&B Manager was amazing at his job and had great control of the restaurant.
We got a complimentary upgrade to the apartments, which was beautiful, with beautiful views. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
A big thank you to the whole team at the Ocean Sand hotel.

Excellent hotel - location, food, service and very dog friendly
Pros:

My husband and I and our dog spent a couple of relaxing nights in the Ocean Sands, just after Christmas. That was such an excellent choice for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Location of the hotel is brilliant, 2 min away from the beautiful Enniscrone beach. Making the reservation over the phone to book a dog-friendly room was a breeze. The room was big and kept very clean by the housekeeping staff. We dined both nights in the hotel, in the dog friendly dining area. Both service and the food in the restaurant were brilliant. Breakfast did not disappoint either. Overall, we had a few very relaxing days that we all enjoyed very much and we look forward to go back to the Ocean Sands Hotel. Thank you all, for the lovely stay.

Fabulous hotel in a fabulous location
Pros:

I stayed for a weekend with my partner. I am already looking forward to my next stay at the Ocean Sands hotel. The staff are wonderful - every single staff member we met was helpful and friendly. They were efficient, diligent and very accommodating. The rooms are lovely and the location is absolutely fabulous. The food was excellent - both dinner and breakfast and the service was brilliant. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to family and friends and will most definitely be returning to the Ocean Sands Hotel. We had a very enjoyable stay. Well done to all of the staff working there.
