Kyoto Gion Ubell Hotel Exceeded all our Expectations
Pros:

The location was absolutely perfect!! It was in a beautiful part of Kyoto and we were able to walk to cafes, restaurants, the City and temples. Our room was spotless and the beds were so comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist us on a few occasions. We hope to one day return to Kyoto and, when we do, we would make sure to stay in exactly the same accommodation. It was amazing!!

Cons:

We loved everything about this place and couldn't think of anything we would change.

uncomfortable with the noise from the street and culturally shocking !!!
Pros:

nearby the metro and bus station

Cons:

There is an issue with the location of the hotel. could not sleep over the night. where there is one Lady that i could hear her from upstairs inviting customers to un appropriate services!!!!!

this goes on for the full night!!!!
i complained to the staff could not do anything about it

Comfortable.
Pros:

Hotel was comfortable with the rooms providing good space to house two large suitcases.

Cons:

Was further away from any facilities and train station than expected. Was required to pay for tourist taxes upon arrival after having already paid fully online via booking.com - this was totally unexpected and not budgeted for.
