The room was old. The shower had mold, the shower head leaked really bad and sprayed the mirror.

Safe Spiritual healing location
Pros:

Thank you to Wyndham owners , employees, and employers for creating the space a young man like myself needed to clear his mind in a world so loud. Mainly a thank you too Vanessa front desk young lady. She had the patience and respect towards her significant other first and foremost. Too hear the healed , healthy , father I am . She deserves all the blessings coming her way for being the light in the darkness. Again Thank you to all for creating the space needed for her to not only hear but to be heard as well.

Wonderful experience!
Pros:

I don't know where these poor ratings are coming from. The hotel was very clean, and our suite was the nicest we have ever stayed in. It was larger than our first home!

Our stay was outstanding. The pool was very clean - and we are picky. We have a pool of our own.

We met the most delightful gentleman working there - Martin. We are going to have to travel down there a lot to MD Anderson and we will definitely be staying here again - actually next week. We look forward to visiting with Martin again.

I also had a nice surprise. I didn't realize it at the time, but I worked at this hotel 50 years ago when it was the Astroworld Hotel.

Pros:

ロケーションが良かった。特にワールドカップが開催されたNRGスタジアムが徒歩圏内であったため良かった。

Cons:

設備のレベルに比較し値段が高い印象。おそらくロケーションコストかと。隣の部屋との壁が薄く、深夜遅くまで話している隣の部屋の声で朝3時に起きてしまった。しかしフロントに依頼し、静かにしてもらった。
あと4名2泊分のシャンプーとリンスが足りなかったため、最後はシャンプーとリンスは無しでシャワーを浴びた。

outdated hotel. charged for parking!
Pros:

The hotel appearance and cleanliness could be improved - A LOT. the carpet in the room looks like had its good days decades ago... the walls and ceiling in the hallways are in serious need of some repairs and painting. the guestroom smells like mold and the windows have not been cleaned in several months (if they have been cleaned ever!). the guestroom had a nice view to the stadium, but the window was so dusty outside that I could barely see anything.
Breakfast was very bad. I understand it is "free" but it had very limited options. The scrambled eggs and sausage were not edible... so our options were toast (which had 1 toaster for the entire hotel guests, causing a line to wait to use it!!) or cereal...
Also, beware that guests get charged for parking with justification of "events". The main reason I chose this hotel was due to FREE PARKING as advertised and published on hotel website. I was charged $75 for parking on 6/27. The justification given was the FIFA World Cup game on 6/29 (2 days AFTER!!!). I complained at front desk but I was told that if I don't want to pay for this parking, my car would be towed!!

Close to stadium
Pros:

This hotel is steps from the NRG stadium and for sure its best feature. The lobby area was bright and front desk efficient and friendly. The rooms are dated but clean, our AC struggled but cooled down nicely overnight. The pool area was shabby and the water murky, given height of the World Cup season maybe they just didn’t want anyone using it? Seems crazy, they could just close it at 9 or 10.

We had an unresolved complaint that they advertise free parking in multiple places on their website but charged us $80+ to park for one night. Stay here at your own risk.

Won't come back
Cons:

The check in process is catastrophic, understaffed and it took too long. The line streched around the corner for hours. With so many digital options you would expect better from Wyndham. Also, the moldy smell in the lobby was unbearable, fortunately the room didn't smell that way, but the AC sounded like an old car...
