Great size room and balcony. Bathroom also good size. Good breakfast, Asian and an egg station . Rooftop pool nice and secluded. Variety of options for food and drink plus lovely beach. It is a large area though as there are different resorts and private properties within the compound. Easy shuttle to get around if you don’t want to walk. Limited options in the town though.

This is quite isolated from the other beaches, so transport to lonely beach could cost like 1000baht. There is two decent and but pricey restaurants at the area. Beach is very big, nice and quiet. Hotel reception is not easy to find because it is in different building few hunred meters away. Room is big and clean. Staff is very nice too.

Not too big or overcrowded attentive staff without being over the top.

Spent 5 night including New Year’s Eve everything was great and the staff was friendly. The happy hour Bogo at the pool bar was a great deal so make sure you check that out while you’re there. Bartenders always had a smile and was happy to serve you.

Habe von der Fähre angerufen und vom Pier abgeholt ( 200 Baht ) .Man muss immer zuerst zum ein od. auschecken zum Office , das für alle Buchungen zuständig ist . Ich habe im Marina Sands 7 Nächte gewohnt . Zimmer sehr schön und gross mit Balkon , leider ohne Wäscheständer . I Tisch mit 2 Sessel , leider in die Jahre gekommen .Füsse total verrosstet .Frühstück lecker verschiedene warme Speisen , Toast , Wurst Käse Marmelade , wer das umbedingt auch im Urlaub essen muß , das er das ganze Jahr auch zu Hause isst . Es gibt 2 Pools , das Meer ist eher flach und schlammig , Strand beim Shamballa beach leider mit Sandflöhen , war nacher völlig abgebissen . Gratis Shuttelsrrvice oder einen Scooter mieten , ab 250 Baht pro Tag .

The place is overall really good. Great apartment with high standard, friendly staff, great pools and beatiful beach and surroundings.

Some cons though:

- the water pressure in the bath are very poor. First it is low, then high, then low and so on. The same with the temp. of the water. It goes from vold, to warm, to cold to warm. Further you cannot choose the “waterfall” shower mode without it turning off and going back to the normal shower head.

- the food at the restaurant are really bad. Especially the “western” food which tastes weird. The morning buffet are probably the poorest and worst we have ever had at a hotel. Not much to choose from. Luckily there a great plages nearby to buy great local food. The food are also very expensive especially taken the quality and taste into consideration.

We would come back though.

All in all 3,5-4/5.

I like everything about this place - great value for money!

Amazing property for the price

Lovely rooms and service in quite a vast resort. It’s not manicured to the best standard but is kept clean and has a stunning beach area. Too much plastic for a resort close to the sea however. Has some lovely hidden restaurants and areas to explore.

Unser Zimmer hatte reichlich Platz und war sehr sauber bei der Ankunft. Das Personal war auch immer sehr freundlich. Als wir uns ein Moped ausleihen wollten wurde sich umgehend darum gekümmert; der Vermieter war sogar persönlich bei uns mit einem Moped, da bei der ersten Anfrage leider keine zur Verfügung standen. Der Shuttle-Service innerhalb der Anlage ist äußerst praktisch, wenn man kein Moped hat.
Beide Pools sind ausreichend groß genug, um seine Bahnen zu schwimmen oder einfach nur eine Abkühlung zu nehmen. Besonders bei Dämmerung empfehlen wir den größeren Pool beim Beach Club, weil die Beleuchtung einfach wunderschön war.
Das Feuerwerk am Strand zu Silvester war mega! Die Korallen an der Siam Royal Pier sind sogar noch teilweise intakt, man konnte viele Fische beobachten. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich und die warmen Gerichte variieren täglich, und die tolle Aussicht ist natürlich atemberaubend. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen und würden auch jederzeit gerne wieder kommen. Danke für die tolle Zeit!

Todella siistit huoneet, ravintolassa hyvä ruoka ja ystävällinen palvelu. Ja mikä ihana ranta resortin edessä.

Hotel alles ok aber check out probleme wegen Teller für Kaffee war schon kaputt vor check in . Wir haben foto bei check in gemacht und danach ok.

terrible place to stay they will let you die in the room, will not providea bottle of water after 9 in the night the manager or duty asked to walk 1 km away frm the reaort to buy water from 7 eleven please kindly do not stay with them

The property is close to the beach and they offer transport around the property as the area the property is set in is huge.

We have just returned from a month at this lovely resort. It was amazing!
The rooms are huge, bright, airy, spotless and have great views. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful and served literally on the beach. You can watch fish swimming and hear the waves- it’s a stunning location. There are 3 large pool areas to choose from. All are spotless, with plenty of Sun loungers, Bean bags, tables and chairs, bars and clean toilet/shower facilities.
There are plenty of shaded areas to sit/lie in too! The beach is perfect for young children- as it is very long, shallow and sandy, but we swam every day in the sea- some days you just have to walk out quite a bit.
There was some construction, maintenance and repair work going on around the resort while we were there, but this did not spoil our holiday at all.
My favourite part was the Shambhala Beach Bar- it was absolutely gorgeous!
The food and drink prices at the hotel were very reasonable (£5/£6 upwards for 2 meals and water) and there are also plenty of places to eat nearby, just outside the resort & along the main road. We ate mainly at the little restaurant just by the entrance to the hotel grounds (£3 for 2 main courses and a large bottle of water!) and also at Khun Tees on the main road (£4-£5 for the same).
It is a 10-15 minute walk down to breakfast/beach area, but it’s a lovely walk through all the on-site villas, gardens and waterways. The oath is well paced and even and if you can’t manage the walk- reception are happy to send a golf buggy to collect you from outside your room.
We would definitely come back here again!

The hotel is in a beautiful location and is part of a large complex with a stunning beach. The bay is very calm with shallow waters so is perfect for children. There are two big swimming pools which our kids loved. The rooms are very spacious, modern and extremely clean. The breakfast was just okay, not much variety.

Upon arrival we were escorted to a different building to complete our check in. Later during our stay when our key cards stopped working, my husband walked to this same building only to be told that reception was no longer there but back at Marina Sands. This reception was not staffed and it took a long time to find someone who could fix the key cards. Then one morning we went for breakfast at the Beach Club, where it had been for the first half of our stay, only to find everything shut there and no one around. Other guests were equally as confused as signage on the door said it would open at 8am. We all hung around until a passing golf cart driver told us breakfast had been moved to Marina Sands (where we had just traveled from!) Why not communicate this with your guests?! The Beach Club then didn’t open until 11 which was frustrating since there are no other options around. Some strange rules in ordering food - you cannot order a burger from the Beach Club but you can from the pool bar, even though they are less than ten steps apart and use the same kitchen. The waiting staff were all very helpful and polite but it was clear they were overwhelmed and understaffed during Songkran.
Check out took a long time because the reception at Marina Sands was not staffed and again, a golf cart driver had to radio someone to come.
We did enjoy our stay here but lack of communication with guests and between staff made some elements disappointing.
