Enjoyable, a few quirks!
Pros:

The staff was fantastic and so friendly to accommodate a few issues we encountered. The pool area was lovely and very relaxing!

Cons:

We unfortunately needed to change rooms multiple times due to maintenance issues and cleanliness. Once we were settled into our final room we were really comfortable and happy! The staff is wonderful and the property has so much potential if the owners would really invest in upkeep.

It was a better experience when it was The Lodge....
Pros:

Parking

Cons:

Rooms cleaned every 3 days, no extra toilet paper, gym is an aftherthought - no A/C, broken equipment; doors to rooms bang shut all night, dogs barking

Room was very dark and had a mildew odor.
Cons:

Counter staff, for the most part were not customer service oriented. And one of the girls was out and out rude.

The property was a perfect location for us. We had a fabulous time at the wedding we attended at a nearby Luxy hotel.
Pros:

It was an attractive property for the vibe of the area. Some of the property had been updated. The pool was welcoming. Most of the staff was very accommodating.

Cons:

There was no restroom in the front desk area so you had to take an elevator to the third floor. The elevator was insanely slow. There were no grab bars in the bathtub. The toilet was very, very low so anyone with issues would have a very hard time getting off it. One of the front desk people argued about our free breakfast, even though we had made arrangements for it with our reservation. She did give it to us reluctantly. It was difficult to find places to eat around there, but you could have food brought in.

Not the right place for us. "Dog friendly" at a high price. Older property, good bed, close to town
Pros:

Bed was the best aspect part of the stay. Location was good.

Cons:

Desk attendant was not friendly and welcoming. They charged $75 for small dog. Old room with no frig. Felt like a second class citizen since booked trough a third party. (Booking.com)

Disappointing
Pros:

The bed was comfy, parking free, nice views

Cons:

The room was dark and gloomy with not enough lighting to see anything however, it clearly wasn’t that clean as I found someone else’s tablets on the flooor.
Breakfast was supposed to be at 7am, we went at 7:15 and all in darkness and no evidence of food. We asked reception, it started happening about 8am without apology

The room was so dark, we referred to it as the "bat cave". The management is well aware of problem.
Pros:

There was plenty of parking. They had water in the lobby. The TV was really big, which was the only thing we could do. I couldn't read or work because of the lack of light in the room.

Cons:

The definition of a "resort" is "a self-contained destination designed to offer everything needed for a trip on-site". You don't even have a restaurant! The bar features food such as clam chowder that has so much chili it will blow your head off! Clam chowder? My paperwork said the pool was closed until 5/31, so I did not bring a suit. I only found out while checking out that it was actually open. Our room was pitch dark. We asked for a lamp that improved the situation 0%. We couldn't see to pack or unpack. There was black powder that would appear in the sink every day from somewhere. And, the front desk employee took the liberty of downgrading us when we arrived. We prepaid for a king, he said none were available and gave us a queen. Then, after calling the "boss" magically found a king room.
