The room was spacious and clean
Location felt unsafe, with so many homeless people all around the hotel: breakfast was fine but not extraordinary. Also, it'd be good to at least have a water fountain available for guests
Nice staff, very welcoming and enthusiastic.
I was expecting a buffet breakfast but it was off a fixed menu, which I didn't mind - the food was really good.
The location is not the best, but close enough walking distance to the main SF areas. There are some dodgy streets just around the corner from there which we need to be careful of.
My room was dated and the carpet looked very dusty. The aircon was also quite loud. Creaky old elevators which sounded like they might break down any moment. Overall it did not live up to the Marriott Autograph Collection standard for me.
There was a big queue at breakfast and quite mismanaged and people were skipping the queue and finding tables and those who waited patiently near the "wait here" sign weren't looked at. The staff did their best though and seemed very busy.
Breakfast was excellent - definitely the highlight of our stay. The room was quite nice too. The lobby bar was a bit small and underwhelming, as was the overall vibe of the breakfast area. However, the staff were super friendly and made it an enjoyable stay. Very short walk to pick up a rental car nearby.
The area around the hotel has fallen on hard times - lots of homeless people and poop everywhere on the sidewalks. Definitely felt pretty sketchy to walk around, though just a few blocks north & it got noticeably nicer.
Smelly hotel corridor,
The staff, amenities, vibe… ALL OF IT .
The parking, or lack thereof
Breakfast fantastic. Included in price, definite good deal.
Room had a strong cleaning fluid smell. Had to open windows to get it out.
Excellent breakfast Complimentary champagne
Neighborhood
location and stuff
rooms are not comfy and not good value for money
The breakfast was exceptional- great choice of options and very tasty. Great way to start the day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel comfortable, very clean, good bar and restaurant. Location good for Union Square, shops. Lots of ubers for when we wanted to travel further afield to Golden Gate Bridge etc.
There are quite a few homeless people living close by which was hard to process when first arriving in such a vibrant city. I didn't feel unsafe, everyone gets on with their own stuff, just feels sad.
Excellent service and pleasant communication. Special thanks to Tuan Bellman from guest service for care and attention to our group of travelers.
Greetings from Latvia! 🇱🇻
Adagio Hotel in San Francisco left an outstanding impression on us! Its wonderful location made it easy to explore the city, while the exceptional cleanliness and beautifully designed interiors created a truly pleasant and comfortable atmosphere.
We would especially like to highlight the amazing staff – attentive, kind, and professional. A sincere thank you to Mr. Tuan (bellman) for the warm and welcoming service – it truly made our stay even more special. Special thanks also to Mr. David for his attention, and the pleasant surprise!
We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful details – a glass of champagne and a bottle of water every day, as well as a complimentary ticket for the tourist train, which was a fantastic bonus.
This is definitely the hotel with the best service we have ever experienced! Highly recommended to anyone!
Free tea and coffee in the lobby, wonderful fresh avocadotoast for breakfast to order from menu.
Not so clean when we arrived at the room.
L’hôtel est bien placé à proximité de union square et dans un quartier agréable. La chambre est très bien.
Le petit déjeuner très bon était trop long à venir. Le service trop lent .
Breakfast very good.
