It was not god value and the property needs a serious makeover. The staff is nice but very used to having sub standard q

The evening happy hour

Cons:

1) the property is old and not well maintained, 2) creaky elevators, 3) location is a bit inside where there are more homeless walking around and smells etc 4) facilities are not great: room had no view, bath cubicle was so small that it’s difficult to fit in, the bath cube door wouldn’t close, they gave me a small fridge because I stayed for 10 days, but it was all badly scratched up and dirty looking - no one seems to care about giving quality

What a great hotel! We will be coming back.
Pros:

Excellent Hotel. The staff was kind and accommodating. Requested a higher floor room, and they quickly made the change for us. Breakfast on site was a sit down style breakfast. Really good food, room and bed were both very comfortable.

Cons:

Location was a bit off of union square. Only about a block or two off so it's not a reason I wouldn't stay on this hotel.

Great Hotel - Courtesy Staff - Friendly Service - Great Breakfast
Pros:

First of all, the front desk was professional and courtesy. We were greeted as a welcoming guest. The breakfast were very delicious. Portion were plentiful. Loved that you ordered from a set menu, but had lots of variety of hot meals. Definitely a bonus breakfast. The waiter/waitress were very professional and attentive. We would definitely stay here again because the rooms were comfortable & roomy. Stayed 5 nights and slept very well.

Pros:

The bed is very comfortable, and the room is clean.

Cons:

There’s no water in the room. At the reception, they treat you like you’re some homeless person off the street. They don’t speak very friendly, they refused to exchange money, and I had nothing to pay the taxi with. To all requests, and when I mentioned that 'you’re not speaking to me very well,' they were only ready to continue having a negative conversation with me. This really upset me. For breakfast, they give you a menu to choose from. Choosing the standard breakfast, the sausage was somehow sweet.

Warm an hospitable.
Pros:

The champagne greeting upon our late arrival was great, as was the quality of food in the bar and restaurant.

Cons:

The price increase on Monday of $500 a night was a bit unreal for me, but I’ve determined that was normal for this city.

Decent stay
Pros:

Water, coffee, tea complimentary at the lobby all day.
Good size and overall clean rooms.

Cons:

Room gets very low daylight. City view is basicly another buildings' roof.
