The staff was wonderful. The room was clean albeit small. The property is well maintained.
The black residue on th ceiling where the air vented was a little concerning but the air seemed fine.

It’s my go to option when I go to NYC. Great location and Beaty good price! The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, a lot of restaurants around, walking distance to Central Park.

The hotel is comfy and located convenient to just about everything.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The last time I stayed was about 20 years ago, and the one down side is while it was a very attractive hotel then, I don't think it has been updated since.

Carpets in room need to be replaced, Rooms in general are dated, desk/dresser was broken, drawer did not close. Bed was super comfortable & the AC worked great

Throughout my whole experience, it wasn’t the best. I was placed in a room where I was quite literally able to hear just about everything throughout the night dragging on too early morning. Causing me to get little to no sleep… I would love to speak to management and see if they are able to do anything for me as I really did. Love the place and would love to come back for the remainder of my trip.. thank you

It was a great location for all fine dining, and next to Central Park in this area all the amenities were so close below the location.

Pros:

This hotel needs an overhaul. My room was dingy with dirty carpet and scuff marks on all walls. A depressing color scheme where a coat of paint would have made a difference. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very good, although the fan in the bathroom didn’t work.

What a terrific location! The Peninsula Hotel is just across the street (and at least 4X the cost) but this hotel has everything I need to enjoy a short getaway in the city. The price for a junior suite was very reasonable and it gave me a bedroom and sitting area and ample sized bathroom. One of my best stays in NYC ever!
