Good
Smell
Decently clean facility but the staff was phenomenal! Helped dig me out of snowed in parking lot, helped drive me out of snowed in lot when they saw me struggle (I'm from the desert 😅).
N/A
No problem with the TV and bed was comfy.
There were a few bugs in the room and they left a dirty rag on the dresser, also no breakfast
Important points: Many rooms at this hotel have OUTDOOR entrances, while some (on third floor) are indoor accessible by taking an elevator. I have always stayed in KING ROOMS, which (from what I understand) are always on the third floor and inside accessible. I have never stayed in one of the Queen rooms or outside accessible rooms.
Rooms have always been clean & very good condition (even if a bit dated). BEDS ARE VERY COMFORTABLE, which is very often not the case in economy hotels!!! These are the most important points for me, along with NO BUGS, & no overpowering or funky smells, or cigarette smell in rooms. Any of the above can often be deal-breakers for me (allergies).
Heat/AC, Hot water, pressure, all appliances & amenities have always worked great & with no issues!
Bathroom is somewhat small as is typical, but well lit (have stayed in some that are VERY DIM!), and well furnished (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, ample mirror etc.) Not a lot of vanity space which might be important to some, and no vanity / get-ready area outside the bathroom, but these were not an issue for me.
Regarding the area: Easy parking, & safe feeling area, with other higher priced hotels right next door. During multiple stays, I've NEVER seen bums or shady looking characters loitering or hanging around outside or in hallways etc. No dumpiness around, no vehicles that look like they've been abandoned, and no sign of low income/subsidy housing people living there. Parking lot is well lit & wide open, & always quiet, clean, & safe feeling.
No real shopping or eating choices within typical walking distance, but MANY choices available within short drive. Almost anything you can think of within 3–7-min drive.
I feel many people who book rooms at economy hotels rate them unfairly and expect their rooms and service to be what they would get at a 5-star hotel that costs WAY more!!! For the category of this hotel, and the GREAT VALUE, there was very little to dislike about the rooms I've stayed in here, or the experiences.
The rooms & decor may be a bit dated, but IMO have been kept up very well. It's obvious the owners take great pride in trying their best to keep everything CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, and in good working order. A few minor stains on carpet here & there, but nothing disgusting or dirty feeling. (It's obvious they have done their best to keep floors as clean as they can, not their fault when careless customers do things to create stains. Bedding, towels and linens have always been clean and fresh looking and smelling. There are occasional imperfections in the walls or ceilings etc, but nothing that looks run-down or trashy or ignored. You can tell owners attempt to keep everything well repaired and in as good condition as they possibly can!
I have never encountered appliances or amenities that don't work or that look like they're falling apart as I have in MANY places. NO BUGS (which is often a difficult task for hotels), staff always friendly and helpful., VERY MINOR points - the desk is a bit on the small side compared to some other similar hotels I've been in, and there is no "comfortable" type chair in room - just the bed and a desk chair. It's sometimes nice to have a relaxing comfortable chair to sit in while eating, reading, etc. However, these are VERY MINOR and do not rise to the level of an actual complaint, and most definitely not worth deducting a star when evaluating the overall price and value compared to other properties and choices in the area. I will happily give up those amenities ANY DAY to get a better price and have a COMFORTABLE, CLEAN ROOM!
I liked the location of the property
I didn’t like how the cable wasn’t working properly, the air conditioner didn’t work properly and breakfast was no longer available.
No breakfast, which was the one big disappointment because when I first booked it was included but later I was informed it was no longer included, without any financial accommodation. 😕

Dirty and smelly
Run down
We didn't experience much, we only stayed one night, but it was nice. I would stay again.
No breakfast
They do not have the free Continental breakfast anymore. Maybe a free voucher for the new good option would have helped. You get an email after you reserve and pay telling you. Motel had no rooms with a walk in shower for wheelchairs. Not enough light at the bathroom mirror to shave. Otherwise I would rate it 10/10.
Free breakfast like website states. Walk in shower. Better light at bathroom mirror.
There was maid service each day.It was close to the highway.AC worked good.Staff were friendly
They had no breakfast..You had to keep signing in on the internet. For the money you pay they could at least have breakfast
L’hôtel est bien situé pour visiter Cincinnati.
La chambre était propre, confortable et fonctionnelle.
Très bon rapport qualité/prix, je recommande sans hésiter.
