For the price, the room wasn’t ready for us.
Pros:

The location was good. Breakfast was good. The room was huge and the space was awesome. The staff was very friendly.

Cons:

The carpet was stained as well as the couch and pillows. We had a reservation for 5 but there were only 3 towels in the room and we had to call for bedding for the sleeper sofa as well.

Very good stay here
Pros:

Location: good, a little far from downtown, but manageable
Atmosphere: really good
Rooms: great! met our needs and comfortable
Value: for the area and time of year comparable
Cleanliness: everything was clean
Noise level: we didn't hear anyone else unless it was at breakfast! So very good.
Service: spectacular! every employee we came in contact with were helpful, professional, and kind
Amenities: these were adequate for our stay

Anchorage one night
Pros:

we stayed one night before boarding ship for cruise. the shuttle service was easy to use and helpful. rooms are dated but generally clean.

Very good
Pros:

The hotel is still very good. The 2 things I did not like was very weak water pressure (I think they changed shower heads.) Also, they ran out of bottled water for the duration of my stay, so your elite offering of free bottled water was substituted with free sodas 🤔

Good hotel. Get thermostat instructions when checjing in
Pros:

Short car ride from airport. In the midtown section.

Cons:

Heat/AC thermostat control not straightforward or easy to read, instructions should be printed. I was cold for a while.

Series of unfortunate events...
Pros:

Convenient airport location, friendly check-in staff

Cons:

We had one thing after another go wrong with our stay... Nothing on its own was terrible, but when you add it all together--it adds up to a bummer of a stay. 1) I'm IN the shower and discover there is no body wash or shampoo, the containers are empty 2) my husband asks staff for those items and he is told they were on the way 3) the body wash and shampoo never show up so I call the front desk 4) I'm put on hold and after 5 minutes of waiting to speak to the front desk, I eventually hang up and have to call back again. 5) our ice bucket was dirty and missing the liner and lid 6) we go to put our kids to bed and discover there is no bedding to the pull-out so again, we have to go to the front desk and request this (this is at midnight, we are TIRED) 7) the coffee maker in our room is broken. 8)the hotel restaurant was out of commission because the cook called in (that happens... But no back-up in place??)

We spent a lot of money on this room ($950+ for two nights) I feel like with that much money, everything should flow smoothly... It did not. We spent a lot of our time correcting these room issues. My friend that I traveled with suggested I join the rewards program, but I don't intend to stay at another Hyatt after this experience.

Small Gracious Staff in a Tired Facility
Pros:

The staff were very nice and managed to make us feel welcome. The facilities are very, very tired. The pool area was dingy. The pool bathroom was actually dirty. Carpet in our room was tattered. There were stains on the couch. Sheets delivered for the pull-out mattress were stained (quickly replaced when we asked for more). Breakfast staff were minimal but doing their best to keep up with things. On the plus side- the fitness center equipment was in good working order.

Cannot go wrong with this hotel
Pros:

I nice quiet stay in a nice looking hotel. The breakfast was good and it was not that far from the airport or downtown Anchorage.
