The location.
The hotel itself is very rundown. The pictures are very deceiving. The light on the wall in our room was flickering all night. The outlet on the wall in bathroom wasn’t secured in the wall which is very dangerous. Bedding and towels had stains. Parking is terrible if you arrive later.

It was horrible , loud and nothing worked , lots of clicking noises , front desk called me three times asking when I’ll check in and would t let us stay parked the next. Morning so we had to move our car and pay for street parking

The room was very clean and the staff very nice. Also it was an easy walk to the board walk. It was a good value. They also have free breakfast. I don’t eat much at breakfast but I went down to grab a roll. Other people were eating and the food looked delicious. My house keeper was very nice.
I didn’t intend to swim because I was going to the beach, but pool was not very clean. The coffee maker and the refrigerator tilted but they both worked.
Easy walk to and from Beach Boardwalk.

Oui, effectivement, le motel est très bien situé, a quelques minutes à pied du Boardwalk de Santa Cruz ...
Le petit déjeuner reste appréciable : gaufres, sirop d'érable, yaourts, café/thé, céréales, jus de fruits, oeufs durs, ...
... Mais je suis arrivée avec mon fils a 16h30, et la chambre à laquelle je devais pouvoir accéder à partir de 15h n'était pas prête et la femme de ménage encore en action.
Après avoir pu accéder à la chambre, je me suis permis une vérification d'ensemble et j'ai trouvé ce qui semblait s'apparenter à une crotte de nez sur l'abat jour d'une des lampes de chevets.
Du coup j'ai poussé ma vérification, et j'ai constaté que les draps n'étaient pas vraiment propres : tâches et cheveux dans le lit.
Sans parler du fait que, malgré un coup de serpillière rapidement passé, le sol nous a laissé les pieds sales.
La salle de bain est très très petite...
Et le frigo nous a fait une belle flaque et, bien que signalé immédiatement, l'incident n'a pas été traité. On m'a simplement fourni de quoi éponger.
Bref, je ne recommande pas
It’s within walking distance of the boardwalk and downtown Santa Cruz so the location is great. They offer a small breakfast in the morning. Nothing to brag home about but enough to cover the bases. The rooms are nice and clean. Ours had a little table and chairs so we had a comfy spot to eat out take out.
The parking lot is hard to navigate. Super small and limited parking. Watched a guy scrape the side of his large truck trying to navigate in and out. If you have an oversized vehicle parking will be a nightmare.
The location was great
Breakfast served late. No coffee until after 7:00 Am. Parking sucked had to park in the alley. Refrigerator clicked all night.Kept us up.Not a very good breakfast.I would Not stay there again.
