Pros:

Beautiful hotel! One crazy thing happened. The window in our room flew up for no apparent reason. Old ghostly friends of Henry Ford perhaps?

Pros:

Beautiful property. Quiet. Elegant. The staff, particularly the bellman, were all awesome and friendly. The renovation is still not complete in a few areas. Can't wait to see it when it is all done.

Pros:

We were getting married and we spoke with the hotel about the arrangement of the four rooms in advance to our stay and they complied and said it would be no problem. When we arrived it was like the conversation never happened.

Pros:

The renovation is great, rooms are nice, staff generally great… everything about the kitchen/food/dining is mediocre at best, they need a new food services manager… spent all the $$ renovating rooms and the cafeteria (Claras Table) untouched… eat locally not there… will come back for the charm of the facility, NOT the food or food service!

Pros:

Absolutely terrible hotel, however, is closing in a week for renovations (and still charging full price)...room was beat down, paint chipped and coming off the ceiling, either 93 degrees or 50....we left at 7am in a snowstorm just to get out of there...

Pros:

Love the history of the hotel. The bathroom and vent were very dusty. Old carpet made us sneeze and cough all night. The property was very beautiful however and close to the museum.
