Do Not Waste Your Money

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I don’t ever leave reviews but I feel like this needs to be done.
I only wish my husband had read the other reviews before booking. Whatever amount you are saving by staying here is not worth it.
To start with, soon as we walk in the room I can see crumbs and candy on the floor. It also didn’t smell clean so I pulled the blanket back on my bed, which also had crumbs on it, I pulled it back and there are dried white spots all over my sheet. We called the front desk. The housekeeper that showed up was very nice and apologized. She said that sheet was used as a drop cloth when they painted. She changed the sheets and did offer to give us another room but we didn’t and I wish we would’ve.
The tub was filthy. There was a used bar of soap on the edge of the tub. She apologized again and cleaned the bathroom really well.
The water in the shower was either scalding hot or ice cold. While showering you get a blast of freezing cold water.
None of the outlets would hold whatever it is you plug in.
They only cleaned our room 1 time in 4 days. Our family staying across the hall from us NEVER got their room cleaned.
The a/c barely worked so you were dying of heat at night.
The breakfast was ok.
The elevator was disgusting.
Nowhere to hang your bath towels.
Garbage all over outside. The pool looked disgusting. Homeless living under the bridge right next to the parking lot and trash everywhere. We were in Fort Worth for The Worlds Greatest Horseman competition and we will never stay here again.

Save yourself a trip here! Horrible experience.
It is extremely dirty and everything is falling apart. We had someone else’s hair all over the shower, the floor looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. We woke up the next morning with ants in our bed. Very unprofessional staff and cleaners who clearly DO NOTHING! save your $$ and go elsewhere because you will not get a full refund.

I wish the dripping faucet in our bathroom had not run constantly. The neighboring room had a large barking dog that was obnoxious.

Overall my stay was pleasant and comfortable. I didn’t have any problems checking in or out.
Pros:

I liked the easy check in and check out online process. I liked how the room was roomy and accesible.

Cons:

I didn’t like that the shower head was complicated to work with. When you turn for the hot water it came out cold and vice versa. I had trouble turning it off due to this as well. Also the Wi-Fi was not secure and could not connect and when it did connect there was not good signal.

The towels provided were soiled, and there was an unpleasant odor emanating from the sheets. The heater was not functioning, and the bathroom doors were both dirty and damaged. Additionally, the shower was broken, and it took approximately ten minutes for warm water to become available. The elevator's safety is questionable: no certificate of compliance and broken buttons. The breakfast offered was unsatisfactory, and there was no hot water or coffee at the coffee station. This was an exceptionally disappointing experience, while I am generally not particular, I find this level of service unacceptable.

Water pressure is non existent, fan in the bathroom would not shut off, it was either hot water or cold water, could not get the water temperature right. Person on staff, could have cared less. Stayed two nights, never cleaned the room or fresh towels, I will probably never stay in another LaQuinta.
