The Meliá Costa del Sol Hotel will begin renovations on some rooms from 17 November 2025 until 30 April 2026. These renovations will not affect any services or facilities.

Great staff, lovely place, please add sound insulation.
Pros:

Wonderful staff, very welcoming and helpful across the board. Very pleasant and clean public space and facilities. Good restaurants.

Cons:

Sound insulation between the guest rooms isn’t very good. We could hear the phone ringing and people speaking normally in the adjacent rooms.

Ottimo hotel direttamente sul mare. Parcheggio leggermente problematico in alta stagione, ma facile in bassa. Colazione ineccepibile, camere nuove, pulite, comode e tutte con grande vista sul mare.

Schönes Strandhotel mit großzügiger Lobby, Bar, Frühstücksraum. Frühstück war sehr gut, vielfältig und sehr schmackhaft. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 3. Stock mit Strandblick. Es war sehr geräumig und gemütlich. Das Badezimmer war ausreichend groß und sauber. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

Cons:

Zur Zeit finden Renovierungsarbeiten in einem Gebäudetrakt statt (wussten wir). Im Nachgang stören die Geräusche doch mehr als angenommen. Infolgedessen war der Preis dem jetzigen Komfort nicht entsprechend eingepreist.

Good entertainment in the bar.
Most things were of good quality, we'd definitely consider rebooking here.

Cons:

Hammering noise from the adjacent room in the second week we were there (we suspected removing tiles from the bathroom), to the extent that we complained at the from desk and were offered a change of room, which we took, unfortunately the bed in the second room was far less comfortable.

Living room furniture was not too comfortable.

Due to mobility issues we selected the ground floor suite when booking, but when we arrived we discovered that the hotel doesn't have ground floor rooms which we were a bit confused about, (we did get a room on the first floor).

Building work directly across the road going on - though it was January so maybe forgivable.
