Disappointed by a 4-Star Property That Falls Far Short
Pros:

The only good things are its location and property is right at the beach.

Cons:

The service at this hotel is, at best, inconsistent — and at worst, non-existent.

I booked an Executive Junior Suite with Sea View, which includes two rooms. The sofa bed in the first room was in poor condition, with an exposed metal structure that posed a genuine safety risk. Despite multiple requests to Reception and Room Service to convert it back to a sofa, nothing was done.

The bigger failure, however, was around our arrival. I had informed the hotel in advance that we would be arriving after 22:00. What no one told us — despite it being planned weeks in advance — was that all access roads to the hotel would be closed that night due to a local festival. We only discovered this upon reaching Alicante. I ended up waiting in my car until 04:00 am before I could access the property.
When I raised this with Reception and asked why we hadn't been warned, I received an argument about the exact timing of the road closure rather than an apology. That response, more than anything else, reflects the culture of this establishment.

This is the worst 4-star hotel I have stayed in across Europe.

Wir werden dort bei unserem nächsten Besuch wieder ein Zimmer buchen
Pros:

Ein hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet und man kann in der gesamten Hotelgastronomie hervorragend essen. Das ganze Hotel wird ständig gereinigt und hat eine super Lage. Saubere Zimmer, bequeme Betten und guter und freundlicher Service überall. Alles ist von dort aus zu erreichen.

Cons:

Wir hatten unser Zimmer mit Balkon über dem Pool des Nachbarhotel und an manchen Tagen oft stundenlang Technomusik im Ohr.
Außerdem erhält am beim Einchecken ein Armbändchen, mit dem sein Zimmer und alle Toiletten im Hotel öffnen kann doch man sieht damit wie ein allinclusive-Gast aus. Beim Auschecken wird es abgeschnitten. Wir blieben noch etwas länger bis zum Abflug im Hotel, doch dann muss man sich beim Empfang eine Karte zum Öffnen der Toilette holen.
Und es gibt keinerlei Barzahlungsmöglichkeiten mehr im Hotel.

Flott hotell med god service
Pros:

Beliggenheten er upåklagelig. Hotellet fremstår som oppgradert innvendig, men ganske slitt utvendig. Det var mange ansatte på jobb som sørget for at alt fungerte som det skulle. Servicen var upåklagelig og renholdet var suverent. Det var blant annet egne folk som vasket og tørket flisene/belegget rund bassengområdet hele dagen, og det var en badevakt som sørget for at håndklemafiaen ikke fikk herje fritt :-). Vi hadde kun frokost på hotellet men det var rikelig med mat og et stort utvalg å velge i. Både kalde og varme retter.

Cons:

Vårt opphold sammenfalt med en stor fyrverkerifestival på stranden nedenfor hotellet. Helt supert det, men her valgte hotellet å sperre/stenge alle terrasser og andre steder for hotellgjestene, og i stedet åpne for andre mot at de betalte for en bedre middag servert utendørs på terrassene. DET er ikke en OK måte å behandle hotellgjester på. Her kunne man i det minste åpnet opp f.eks frokostsalen (innendørs med utsikt til stranden og fyrverkeriet) eller tilsvarende for hotellgjestene. Fyrverkeriet kunne selvsagt oppleves ved å gå ut i gaten, men der var det fullstendig kaos!
