Pros:

I spent 11 days at Hotel Christina in Tigotan. My understanding was that I had booked a sea view room; however, the view was of a port across a busy and noisy dual carriageway. The noise was excessive, and the view was poor, so I did not spend any time on the balcony.

My husband and I asked on three separate occasions if we could move to a room on the other side of the hotel. Each time, we were told we would have to pay an extra €25 per night. Since we were already well into our stay, it did not make financial sense to pay this additional fee on top of the £2025 we had already paid for what we believed was a proper sea view.

The room type we requested remained unoccupied for the entire duration of our stay. This inflexibility demonstrates a missed opportunity to ensure good customer satisfaction.

That said, I must emphasize that all the staff were very pleasant and professional, and I otherwise had a great time at the hotel.

Pros:

This a really nice hotel, really well located for local restaurants and shops. The pool area was great and right on the beach if you prefer. The breakfast had a lot of choice and all the staff were lovely. I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Lovely 2 day stay. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The hotel was spotless and very modern in design with a .superb position overlooking the beach.
Food was fresh and plenty of choice both for breakfast and dinner.
Swimming pool area was very well maintained with very efficient staff.

Pros:

Las Palmas is a tiny city about 30 minutes from the airport, but all the flight crews stay at this hotel, which says something. Check in - effortless, glass of Cava while wait. Beautiful room with only the board walk between us and the sea. We arrived by bus and it was a ten minute walk to the hotel and back. That said, luxury costs, so if you are on a backpackers budget you won't be staying here, however if you are on a spoil-yourself holiday, then you can afford it.

The hotel absolutely doesn’t deserve five stars ! The reception is part of the restaurant. The room is not up to par: absent of bathrobe, bath product, towels are in a terrible state. The household very badly done, the sheets were not changed for three days. The catering is very limited. We regret having chosen this hotel.

Pros:

Phenomenal staff and service. We had misplaced an item and housekeeping was able to find it and returned it to our room the following day. Halfboard was well worth it. The hotel is in a great location for any exploring and traveling needs.

Pros:

Hotel is clean through out. Pool area amazing photos dont do it justice . When using the sunbeds you feel as if you are on the beach because of the view. Pool/pool bar staff went out of their way and you could aways have a laugh with them
