We arrived at 10pm the night of our prepaid, non-refundable reservation with 2 young kids just looking to quickly get checked in and go to bed, only to be told that they had overbooked the hotel and that they did not have a room available for us. The front desk employee disappeared to “check on our room” only to come back 3 minutes later to deliver this news and tell us that they called the dirty, old hotel down the road and they have a room for us. It was clear that this was not the first time that they overbooked the hotel in a bait and switch move. When I returned the next day to ask for a refund, the on duty manager said that she already refunded my card, but was unable to provide confirmation of this and did little else or show any remorse for their mistake. I am still yet to see a refund for this stay. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had ever.

Wish they have an awning at the front door because during the rain we can park and load without getting wet
Outdoor areas particularly the back parking lot where we had to park at night, could use some fixing up. Perhaps a fence for added safety
