Surpassed expectations
Pros:

Very clean and comfortable. I was told the hotel was in a bad neighborhood, but the hotel was safe and very clean and more comfortable than a lot of higher-priced hotels. I was very pleased.

Cons:

I had to leave unexpectedly sooner than I had anticipated or what I had paid for.

The mattress was the only amenities I enjoyed

Cons:

Our stay at the Best Western Hartford Hotel and Suites was very disappointing due to multiple room maintenance and functionality issues.

​The air conditioning system did not function properly, leaving the room uncomfortable. Additionally, the window lacked proper coverings/blinds for privacy and light control. Key amenities were also out of service: the in-room telephone was non functional, and we experienced ongoing issues with both the Wi-Fi connection and the television service.

​Given these basic room requirements were not met, I cannot recommend this property based on our experience.

Ok for what we paid for and the three nights

Woman doing the breakfast was not pleasant. Asked for something and she said there was no more with a clear visible box in site. Mold in room very dark not pleasant. Smell of rooms was not great either.. laundry staff not pleasant when asking for towels they would star at you tried to give an even exchange and could not even get it back in return. One woman walked into room with no communication to hand two towels to four people. No face cloths. Front hotel staff the two men amazing went above and beyond.

Overall, it was a good hotel for the price we paid. I would stay here again.

Our room was clean. The breakfast was good - typical hotel breakfast, with eggs, sausage, bagels, etc. staff was very friendly and helpful.

An average stay that could be improved with friendlier customer service
Pros:

The hotel was fine overall. The room was comfortable and everything was generally okay.

Cons:

The staff at the front desk were not very friendly or welcoming. I think the hotel should focus more on customer service and have staff who are warmer and more courteous with guests.

It was upsetting to see a dead body being removed
