Decent Room, Poor Staff
Pros:

While the room was fine, the services were not. The front desk staff were unhelpful and rude, the phones were not answered, and housekeeping entered the room without announcing or knocking! A poor excuse for a Marriott. Don’t stay here.

Good location but expensive for what it was.
Pros:

Good location close to Rittenhouse Square, shops, coffee shops etc. Good room size and nice decor.

Cons:

Both the rooms and the lobby were very dark - not much natural light. Lobby area was fine but quite small (and dark) for the size of hotel. There was nowhere to sit when I was waiting for my room and they would not let you sit in the adjoining restaurant area even though it was far from full.

Pleasant stay-will consider again.
Pros:

The staff are friendly and efficient. Overall the hotel looks great. Room was quiet, bed very comfortable. It lived up to the name of heavenly bed. Lots of great lighting in the room. Cooling worked well. Appointed nicely. Hotel is in a prime location. Plenty of restaurants, parking garages around, as well as Rittenhouse square/park.

Cons:

The bathroom showed some wear. Grout around tub etc needs refreshed. Toilet flush was not powerful. Water rose almost to the top before it would flow out-no matter what number was done. Made us weary of an overflow. Trash was left behind our trashcan in the main room. Bed was made in a hurried manner-things were not tucked in tightly. Not deal breakers but legit concerns.

A work trip. Will come again, thank you for making our stay in Philly a pleasant one.
Pros:

Stayed this past weekend. The staff was helpful and friendly; the room clean and comfortable, the location perfect.

Cons:

Parking crazy expensive overnight, wish the Westin had an agreement with the garage for a reasonable overnight rate. Had the buffet for breakfast as we thought the menu choice was smaller than expected and a bit pricey for what was available on the buffet. Unfortunately, the scrambled eggs, potatoes, French toast not hot, rather lukewarm. There was no fruit available, platter empty except for a couple of blueberries, a couple of slices of melon and 4 pineapple chunks. There were plenty of eggs, potatoes, sausage and French toast available, but again because it was not hot did not eat much of it. I will commend the staff in the restaurant who greeted us and took our order and refilled our coffee; they were both extremely friendly and a pleasure to talk with.

Wonderful Staff! Quiet clean hotel!
Pros:

Staff was amazing all around…. Kind, responsible, responsive, respectful. Bed was super comfortable. Room darkening shades were excellent! Good mini fridge in room. Jamal, who worked down near the front door, and helped to store my bag, was wonderful, professional and efficient!
Great location right in the heart of things.

Cons:

Bathtub stopper didn’t fully work. There was a charge to use a yoga mat.

Great staff and location but cleanliness is problematic
Pros:

Great location. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Good lighting in the room.

Cons:

We saw a mouse in the lounge. There was a tray of old food in our hallway for many hours. Someone else’s dirty clothes and underwear were in our room. Yuck!!!! That makes me question whether or not housekeeping had cleaned anything.

A Perfect Overnight Stay!
Pros:

From check in with SEAN T to the beautiful clean suite,to dinner at the restaurant with DEREK helping us….this overnight stay was perfect! The Westin in Philly is beautiful! The hotel was very clean and housekeeping obviously took pride in their work. The hotel is connected to a mall at Liberty Place which is also a very nice shopping area. Westin is making Marriott proud! Hold on to your Westin Philly staff, you have some of the nicest people working for you that I have ever met!
