The self parking was a bit hard to find but once you do it’s easy to go inside and get out of the hotel!
I got a king suite with a mountain view. We were on the 12th floor and the view was spectacular. The room was very pretty too. There were plenty of drawers. (Although we did not use them, as we were only there one night.) My husband enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was involved and most were obviously enjoying it. However, as a vegan I found little (but enough!) to eat.
The hotel clearly shows its age. The mattress was old and soggy to the point of discomfort. The room was almost out of tissues and lacked small amenities like an extra mirror--or other setup--to see the back of my head. There was not a full length mirror either. The parking garage ($19/day) was fine, but very confusing.
Location
Everything seemed a little tired. Though not in bad shape overall. The sink in my room was cracked, though it didn't leak. The tub had rust stains.
Also, there was no room cleaning done the last day even though I was gone for most of the day and the Do not disturb sign was not on the door.
The self parking exit didn't work one day. Had to go to the front desk to fix it.
It was our first time visiting Colorado Springs and we had a list of activities we wanted to do. The location of the hotel was very convenient (easy in and easy out) to the highways and local roads. Everyone at the hotel (and the parking staff - independent company) was so nice, friendly and accommodating. They made our stay really enjoyable. Our room overlooking the mountains was nice (great views), clean, fresh, roomy, and quiet. We had one meal (breakfast) at the hotel and it was very good (good value also) and overall, the value of the hotel was GREAT. We would definitely stay there again. We should have booked a longer stay!
Excellent stay, wonderful experience, very nice, friendly and most of all helpful staff! Danielle at the front desk went above and beyond to help make my son smile! The arcade and indoor pool were great for the kiddo too. Also walk to and through downtown. Will be coming back. Would be convenient for business as well.
The staff was exceptional
Sarah and Gina the bar staff were phenomenal.
It had some really pretty views
Nothing about the rooms seemed overly special or aww inspiring just felt like a normal best western room. We also booked here for the hot tub and spa but were unable to use due to it being down
very fun lots of activities
one time we found a sex toy under the bed and it wasn’t ours
Everything it's absolutely Immaculate the decor in the lobby is beautiful and welcoming it feels very old classic but it is impeccably done
N/A!
I loved the history behind the property
Well the check in lady ran her mouth the whole time I was waiting to check in, right. I know about her deceased husband… her kid… how long she worked there. Guess what she FAILED to talk about. The fact that if I PAID FOR VALET I would still have to get my own car.
We were leaving early the next morning. Something I told her. She NEVER ONCE, in all that rambling and babbling said “oh well that valet you’re paying for, they won’t be here so you’ll have to go to the parking garage and get your own sh!t. “ and the parking garage was a little confusing. It was freezing, and I paid 24 bucks for it.
Smmfh. If they are going to charge ppl for this stuff then valet should be there earlier than 7 am. Ppl travel and can’t sleep in all the time.
The amenities, and the view. Absolutely incredible.
If my stay could have been longer.
The Antlers is an historic hotel with classic styling located conveniently in the heart of Colorado Springs. The uninterrupted views of the Rocky Mountains are terrific. And most important is the commitment to outstanding customer service. Tammy and Corbin made sure all our guest needs and wishes were met and even helped us connect with local family members. I recommend the Antlers for your next visit to Colorado Springs!
