Good location with friendly staff.
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location with access to parking. It has a history which was one of the things that attracted me. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

As a base for sleeping and showering, no cause for complaint at all
Pros:

Extremely good value for money.
Decor a little tired in places but overall a very grand building and for £51 for 2 people Sharing for just a comfy nights sleep and adequate en suite facilities, no cause for complaint at all.
Didn’t choose to have breakfast on site, plenty of of options nearby.

Cons:

Not the place to go if you want luxury, as some areas do look in need of some repair/ painting

Nice stay
Pros:

Nice clean condition, good size kettle and fridge. Comfy bed. Lovely big room. Nice staff.

Cons:

Other guests a bit loud in front of hotel. Smoking area outside hotel front door was awful fir the non-smoker, having go walk through the purple gate of smoke. Just off putting.....?

Will come again. It’s easy and convenient for so much in town and it’s a beautiful building

Couldn’t stay for more than 3 nights I’d be too tired because of young people screaming and shouting from their premises
Pros:

It was wonderful. Friendly staff very helpful. Loved the building and perfect location .

Cons:

My only concern is the beds are too hard and the noise mainly from the students across the way was unbearable.

On the whole it was good to spend some unexpected time in Liverpool.
Pros:

Breakfast was self service and all hot food was as it should be. Comfy bed and room temperature just right.

Cons:

Had poor sleep due to fireworks, motorcycle going up and down, and fire alarm going off in early hours of the morning.
