Excellent location but not luxurious
Pros:

Location excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Do not expect a Continental breakfast, few croissants, but very good value full English.

Cons:

The hotel is showing its age, the corridors a little dowdy. Plenty of creaking floorboards and noise pollution from outside. Could not get the shower to work.

Not the best experience
Pros:

Not much, I use this for the location.

Cons:

Floor 6 overlooking Yates, so noise loud music until 1.30.
The pillow was hard, and there's a light on a senser in the room and everything there was movement in the next room which made the floorboards move, made my light go on and off through the night. My worst stay here.
I've noticed when I book with booking.com they always give me a bad room.

Very gross rooms.
Pros:

Location was great but there's where it ends.

Cons:

The room is so outdated that I could smell old people. There was a stale stench that wouldn't go away. Furthermore, the carpet floors were stained and definitely not properly hoovered. Honestly it was gross and I didn't enjoy my stay at all. The shower was also super old and took like 10min to get hot. There was also no light fixture on the ceiling, only lamps you can use next to the bed (probably to high the dirtiness of the room).

Pros:

Charme du bâtiment à l'extérieur comme à l'intérieur. Emplacement au top! En plein centre de Manchester. Tout est donc à proximité: transports, magasins etc...

Cons:

Isolation sonore des fenêtres en bois mais cela reste convenable.

Never again
Pros:

The location

Cons:

Everything, the hotel was dusty and dark. The rooms wasn’t clean enough and looked like someone has stayed a night before I got inn. And most of all the staff, rude, ignorant and very very disrespectful. I felt uncomfortable and the security guard waited in my room for an hour whilst I was getting ready-very disturbing…
