The hotel was great overall, with an excellent location close to everything we needed. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with incredibly comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep.
We arrived late from Australia after 14 hours of travelling, so we were quite tired and looking forward to a warm welcome. Unfortunately, the first impression at the service desk was not as friendly as we had hoped. It was a Sunday night, and the staff seemed a little unhappy to be there, which made the arrival experience feel less welcoming than it could have been.
That said, the restaurant service was absolutely excellent. The breakfast was fantastic, and we really appreciated that it was not a buffet-style offering. The omelette was exceptional — honestly, the best we have ever had. The quality of the food and the service in the restaurant were definite highlights of our stay.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily recommend the hotel, with the hope that the front desk welcome could be a little warmer for future guests arriving after long journeys.
The front desk experience was disappointing, as the welcome felt quite cold and lacked the warmth expected from a hotel of this standard. After arriving tired from a long journey, a more friendly and helpful approach would have made a significant difference.
When I asked about nearby ATMs, the staff did not seem very knowledgeable about the local area and simply handed me a map to figure it out myself. I would have appreciated more guidance and local recommendations, as front desk staff are often the first point of contact and play an important role in creating a positive guest experience.
