The most horrible thing in this hotel, are the elevators. Archaic system and extremely slow, causing chaos in the hotel lobby with literally dozens of people lining up to ride them.
Perfect Location: Within walking distance to major Halifax attractions including the Citadel, Public Gardens, Casino Nova Scotia, Scotiabank Centre, and the waterfront boardwalk. The room was large and very comfortable. The breakfast staff was exceptional, continuously cleaning tables and replenishing food and the morning breakfast was good with various choices.
A missing drape on the side window let in too much light, preventing the room from being dark. The pool is on the smaller side, and the facility lacks a hot tub.
The bathroom was very nice. The included breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. The staff were friendly. The parking garage was easy to access and very convenient for this city. The price was reasonable considering the prices in the city.
They were completing some repairs to the main lobby entrance but not really a problem. The hotel could benefit from a refreshing.
Nous avons été surclassé
Ascenseur fonctionnait mal et frigo était dur a ouvrir
Overall, the room was acceptable, but the price was way too high for what we got.
Poor service at check-in. The reception staff was unwelcoming, did not greet us, and acted like they owned the place. We paid a premium price and expected good treatment. To make matters worse, they never cleaned the room or changed the towels during our stay.
Close to sites, restaurants and almost everything we wanted to see
It was good
