Dirty room, loud pump...

Cons:

The complimentary breakfast was at 7am usually its earlier so the people that have to leave early can get food.
Our room was supper dirty and had crumbs all over the floor and chairs.
There was some sort of machine that turned on every hour and was supper loud and made it so I couldn't sleep.

Breakfast was excellent, but it always irks me when hotels that can only be accessed by car charge at least $15 a night for parking. Next time I'll park at the Marin Center.

Cons:

Cleanliness was very good but the pull-out sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable. Also, it looked like the sheets on that bed had not been changed and there was no top sheet and only one very thin and small pillow for that bed. The "blanket" was a joke, a very thin and cheap throw blanket of synthetic material.

For the very expensive area of San Rafael, it was a pretty reasonable price.
Pros:

The first few nights all was well. 4th floor. There, there was a prolonged noise- sort of a engine(?) or vacuum cleaner(?) or pump? humming. Definitely not a car. Went on a while, then stopped and then started again. No idea if it was there during the day, since it was not in the room but it
