Good value near to Canary Wharf
Pros:

Very convenient for Canary Wharf - there’s a free ferry across the river which comes every 10 mins. I booked a private room which was spacious and good value. There’s a pub 2 mins up the road called the Blacksmiths Arms that has a great atmosphere and hearty pub food - would recommend in the evening.

Cons:

Bring ear plugs as I found neighbours to be a little noisy.

Apesar dos incidentes, a zona é muito calma, o espaço e quarto muito acolhedores e confortáveis e tem uma vista nocturna

Cons:

No check-in não foi explicado que para limpeza do quarto, teria de ser pedido na véspera. Na 2ª noite continuávamos com lixo para despejar, tolhas molhadas, sem papel higiénico, como não existe telefone no quarto a minha filha dirigir-se à receção, e foi nessa altura que explicaram que o pedido tinha de ser feito on-line através da aplicação. A minha filha diz que o empregado foi muito simpático, mas deu-lhe 4 saídas de banho porque o ele não sabia das toalhas de banho.!!! Quando fui à aplicação para fazer o pedido para o dia seguinte, a data disponível era para 2 dias depois uma vez que o pedido estava a ser feito depois da meia-noite!!! Fiquei indignada e irritadíssima, dirigi-me à receção, disse que saídas de banho não eram toalhas decentes para se dar aos clientes, e aproveitei para dizer que como não tinha sido informada convenientemente dos procedimentos do quarto durante o check-in, pretendia sacos do lixo e papel higiénico, porque o pedido através da aplicação deu data para 2 dias depois data do checkout!! Nessa altura o empregado registou o pedido manualmente, e deu-me o que lhe pedi incluindo toalhas de banho(afinal sabia onde estavam)!!!. No dia seguinte mudaram as toalhas, limparam wc, mas não repuseram gel de banho que tb não havia, nem fizeram as camas!! Aconteceu outro incidente no pequeno-almoço em que uma funcionária foi extremamente desagradável com a minha filha, expulsando-a da mesa onde tomávamos o pequeno-almoço. Já eram 10h como nós, haviam outras pessoas a terminar o pequeno-almoço, a minha filha foi buscar café e quando ia para regressar à mesa, foi extremamente rude impedindo-a de entrar na sala porque passavam 2 minutos do fecho. Um dos empregados que já nos conhecia, disse à minha filha para voltar para a mesa, e pediu-lhe desculpa. De realçar que tive hospedada 5 dias/4 noites e com estes incidentes penso que a relação qualidade preço é elevada.

Not what it was - disappointed
Pros:

• Fantastic views - I don’t think you could beat them, especially at night.
• Lovely hot & powerful shower

Cons:

• No kettle/drink making facilities - made it really difficult to stay with a baby - had to ask for hot water from reception, which isn’t practical for nighttime bottles.
• Had a cot reserved on our booking, it was mentioned at check-in but wasn’t in the room, when we asked at reception we were just told ‘no cot’
• Room was mouldy and in disrepair
• Toilet frequently blocked - didn’t flush first time
• There was, what looked to be, wet toilet paper thrown on the ceiling
• River boat is no longer included in room reservation (under Hilton, it was free to cross the river)
• Had a balcony but was unable to access - there are still stickers saying door opens fully, but new lock on the door
• Had to pay for a quadruple room for 2 adults and 1 baby - baby ended up sleeping with us as no cot - could have easily stayed in a double

Pros:

Ich habe in einem Zweibettzimmer übernachtet., das eine großzügige Größe hatte. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Themse, die Lage ist somit ruhig. Es gibt eine kostenlose Überfahrt mit der Fähre :-)

Cons:

Das Frühstück war wenig abwechslungsreich, der Frühstückraum voll durch die meisten Hostelgäste,
