Overall good experience especially the front desk staff.
Pros:

Really nice! Loved the hotel! The hotel staff was great except for the two valet guys the first day.

Cons:

Pillows were too firm. The two valet guys that told me we would receive a text never sent it which caused a delay in our departure the next morning.

Pros:

Location

Cons:

Parking was expensive and undisclosed we'd have to pay until arrival. Saloon was closed next door. Took half an hour to check out when we left. Had to pay for coffee. Beds were okay but expected more comfort with the price. Extra deposit was held but i was not informed when checking in. Basically each reason I selected this location was a disappointment and overpriced

style and profit over true comfort.
Pros:

bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

room was super small. needed a small coffee pot in the room, rather they have an electric tea kettle with coffee "bags". would have been ok, but the only coffee available was in the Cafe in the lobby...which only had one girl staffing. I had to wait 15 MINUTES for one drip coffee. not acceptable when you are needing to get to a meeting or get on the road. it would help everyone involved if they would take one of the many buffets in the lobby and make it a coffee station. a few beautiful coffee urns would fit in with their decor beautifully and make all the difference. this hotel is beautifully designed, but lacks the details that make it comfortable, convenient, special.

Had a great stay here at the Graduate this week! The valets, Joey and Araunah, were very polite and efficient, got my car pulled up by the time I got to the lobby!

Close to campus
Pros:

We recently stayed at this location for school tour. The hotel is across the street from campus which is nice. Hotel staff is professional and courteous.

The hotel is sandwiched between two streets, tucked behind a McDonald’s, so it can be tough to locate at first. Valet parking only, which is pricey.

We had adjoining rooms with a kids camping style room. The decor is well appoint as in themes with most graduate hotels.

The bathrooms are really small. Overall the rooms seem a bit tired and dirty, not very well maintained. The saloon offers some subpar bar food, really not that great.

Location is solid for games etc, but expect an overpriced sorta dirty room.

The Graduate is a great way to spend your weekend in Knoxville.
Pros:

If you are going to a University of Tennessee athletic event, the location is perfect. It is an easy walk or drive to get to anywhere on Campus. The Saloon 16 Restaurant was excellent with great food. We had breakfast at the Graduate and it was very good.

Cons:

We liked everything about the Graduate. The only thing I will say is that if you want to book a room for a Football weekend, you better book early. Rooms go fast on these weekends. If you do get a room on a Football weekend, it is a great location.
