Great location and room design.
I like the location and the hotel
Staff never come to clean the room or gave us clean towels and you got to pay for parking every day that you're there
Everything
Nothing
Clean
Nice people
Location and price
Everything is old and the AC caused me to be ill as the filter wasn’t clean
The staff was really nice and accommodating!
I don't know if this is on Booking.com or the location but I felt like there was a ton of charges that were not as up front as I would have liked. Read the fine print people. $55 valet parking otherwise you have to park in an unaffiliated parking garage, I checked the nearby ratings and they all get broken into and have tons of issues with staffing so no go there. It said they would place a crazy $300 plus hold instead of the usual $50 of most places at one point and then in a separate email said it was $75/day hold for incidentals. You need to have a spare $500 in your account for an $80 room. What in the world?! Did they tell me about it, yeah in the finest print well into the booking process, and the information conflicted with later emails. What can I say I fell victim to the sunk cost fallacy. Be better than me.
I saw on the original page on booking and it said that it had "onsite parking" but it didn't mention the valet parking or the charge until the 'last confirm your booking' button. Unless it was in some fine print before that, and if it was I missed it meaning it's definitely not obvious, kinda shady. I would have picked another hotel a little down the road for way less after everything was said and done. Felt a little scammed. Also don't think I missed the fact that if I was willing to pay an extra $23 for my room I could get their $24 breakfast for "free". The only difference between those prices was the breakfast. No extra benefits, wow I could save a whole dollar. I hope someone somewhere makes the information more upfront. I will not be staying here again which is a bummer because again, the staff, absolutely wonderful!
I’m yet to receive my $300 deposit refund back to my card now about 2 months. This is unacceptable.
Staff friendliness and professional.
Everything apart from the staff. Room and location superb. In my opinion staff, with one or two exceptions are the worst I have encountered in travel around. Management and systems atrocious in my view too.
Reception management and staff.
The location was convenient and the staff was very nice.
We had booked this property based on value and it having a nice pool area. Upon arrival the pool was closed due to someone vomiting in it which is ok. However the chairs were folding camping chairs and the next day when we were told the pool was open, we arrived to see what seemed to be dirt and debris in the bottom of the pool. They had said the pool was closed for cleaning but it was not clean in any way. Was this remnants of the vomit or something else? I wasn’t about to find out so we were not able to use the pool at all, what a disappointment. The parking seemed expensive for the cost of the hotel at 55.00/day as well.
