We would definitely stay there again, but we would go out for coffee and breakfast.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, and I would recommend it as a comfortable, clean, safe place.
Pros:

This hotel is very nice and clean. The room is spotless. It is quiet here. The area, Matthews North Carolina, is safe. I was comfortable parking my rented vehicle here. I was safe entering and leaving the hotel.
The Hampton Inn provides breakfast every morning. The food is tasty, and the buffet area is clean. They have juices on tap, coffee, eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits with gravy, bagels and other items, which change on a daily basis.
The people working here are polite and friendly.

Cons:

Everything was fine. I don’t have any problems with this hotel.

Pros:

Water heater did not work. Both water in the sink and tub did not drain. When I tried to adjust the temperature on the thermostat on the wall, it fell off. I received no room service on the three days I stayed. I had to go and ask for fresh towels and take out my own trash. It was my worst Hilton experience.
