The location is an office park wasteland, so don’t expect to stroll around and enjoy nature. That said, there is a shopping center about 8 minutes (walking) with a grocery store, CVS, and a few fast casual restaurants. My King room was spacious and very clean. If there has been 2 of us sharing, I would have wanted a real closet and more than 2 small drawers. Since it was just me, I had plenty of room and enjoyed the space. There was enough seating for having a few friends by for a drink! The marketplace restaurant and bar had plenty of offerings, with fairly typical selections and hotel prices.
Overall it was a nice stay with Hyatt regency Irvine. The pool was a nice place to visit with a big screen to watch the World Cup games. We also enjoyed the club visits for afternoon snacks and a breakfast. Breakfast needs to be booked through the front desk.
we were there on 6/11/2026 and the housekeeping provided us with some hand towels that had brown stains on them. In my opinion, these towels should not be placed in guest rooms once stains are noticed, as it feels very unsanitary.
In addition, the water pressure from the bathroom sink was extremely slow, which made it inconvenient to use throughout our stay.
My 2nd stay at this property. Both stays were outstanding in every regard. Globalist benefits are terrific. Very large waters in the room, great upgrade to a suite with a view, no parking fees or ressort fees. The lounge is one of the better ones I've visited. The fact there still is a lounge is big plus. They have a seating for breakfast and a seating for dinner. Taco Tuesday is GREAT.
Food in the lounge is excellent as is the service. Can't say enough good things about this property.

The staff was helpfull when I did encounter problems.
It was so packed with tournaments and a Pokémon convention i dont believe the staff was equipped with enough information. I had issues with my parking. Then when check out came there wasnt any carts. I do believe the staff did they best they could.
Good location, room was nice & clean but no closet to hang up clothes . Only outside rack & wall hooks. Self parking quite a distance from hotel entrance & to room elevator as well as being expensive. Pool area nice but weather was too chilly for me to use . Overall nice place to stay but not exceptional.
We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What really stood out was the exceptional staff—they were always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help with anything we needed. Their outstanding customer service truly made our experience even better. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Great Hotel. Employees all great. Front dewsk super helpful and our room was immaculate all 5 days. Housekeeping super nice about replacements etc. Pool area clean. They get an A+
