This hotel felt more like home than a hotel. The lobby was cozy and warm. It smelled divine! The staff was personable and eager to help. When I accidentally left our passports in the room safe I only had to text them via WhatsApp and someone had them waiting when we rushed back from the train station! The breakfast buffet was divine!!! The bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave but the hotel was situated so nicely that I could walk to all the best locations! I wish I never left!
Very nice hotel in a great location, we wish that the F&B offerings were more in line with the costs of other top quality venues in Florence but the pricing at Tivoli was at least 40% above even the nicest of stand alone restaurants and bars in the city center.
Suited us perfectly from proximity to the train station to easy walking distances to all the key sights. Terrific service and rooms and quality that you would expect from a 5 star and one in this outstanding group of hotels. Would highly recommend it.
Outstanding hotel and staff! Absolutely fabulous in our opinion. The staff, including Tommasso C., Alessia, Michele, Tommaso G., Benedetto, Marco and the entire staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, engaging, and fun! They were all exceptional. We have stayed there in 2018, and this year, and we will always stay here when in Florence. One of our most favorite hotels anywhere! Absolutely recommend!
A lovely hotel in the heart of Florence. Easy access to all the wonderful museums and attractions.
Staff were great but breakfast was a bit disappointing on our final day when the restaurant got so busy we couldn’t get coffee and tea served without having to ask three times.
We had a lovely stay at the charming Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi Hotel in Florence. Excellent location with an easy walk to the train station and many local attractions. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. Views from the roof top bar were stunning, overlooking the Duomo and a beautiful sunset in the distance. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.
This was a wonderful hotel. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated including the scrumptious breakfast buffet. They provided local treats to welcome you and even a turndown service in the evening. The hotel was also centrally located to the sites and shops. It was my favorite hotel stay ever!
Fantastic location! 10 min walk to train station, the Duomo, and all the shopping. Great restaurants near by, Ciro and dons was amazing and it’s on the same street. The hotel used to be a private palace and it’s kept much of its original character. Breakfast in the garden was just perfect. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Highly recommend this hotel and we will be back!
There were a lot of nice things about that hotel: location is great- walking distance to train station and many main tourist attractions, nice bathroom products- Aqua Di Parma, and i absolutely loved that they had hair styling tools (including good quality curler and hair straightener!!). Excellent bed and bedding! One of the doormans was very polite and always smiled- just very positive. I also thankful for plate of fruits on arrival and opportunity to check out at noon
But also, few things i didn’t like: bathroom door that does not latch and opens with any movement, inconsistent maid service, room layout is very cramped and difficult to navigate, especially at night. I also didn’t like their breakfast buffet, very few choices- a lot of pastry like options- that are not good
Classic Vintage Hotel, with charm and elegance of days give by. The staff is well trained and they make you feel special. We'll be back....
Amazing
Such a wonderful hotel! The location was superb. So beautiful. The service was great. Our room was large, clean and modern with a large bathroom. The breakfast was incredible. There’s even a rooftop bar (need a reservation) that overlooks the duomo. We will stay again on our next visit to Firenze.
Gabriel and Augustina made our stay so enjoyable, and we looked forward to seeing them both each morning. Gabriel even helped me prank my partner with a banana.
The hotel is elegant, beautiful, and lovely, and the decor is right off a magazine cover.
Our first night, I blew a fuse and shut off the power to our room. The front desk remediated the situation within 15 minutes—excellent service.
The Tivoli was an excellent choice for our two-night stay in Florence. The palace is full of history and charm, while also being stylish, modern and beautifully decorated throughout. The breakfast was wonderful, with lots of options and sundowners on the roof terrace are not to be missed. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it.
This hotel really is wonderful in hardware and software, the combination is a winning formulae! When we first stepped in, the gorgeous perfume in the lobby was already a winning factor! The decoration from the lobby, lounge area, lift area to the bedroom gives us a feeling of heart warming, homey yet exclusive without being arrogant, quality touches were used throughout the hotel to the bedrooms. We had a window view of the Duomo so that was great! Bed was comfortable and kudos on investing in good bathroom slippers as they were so comfortable! Room was ok in size but felt comfortable for both of us. I absolutely love the staff in reception! They epitomise the " over and beyond" , exceptional customer service that every hotel should have! We accidentally drove into the restricted zone road outside the hotel on check out day and they quickly resolve our issue and even got someone to park our car for us so that we can eat our lunch nearby!! It’s staff like you Ana who make our stay truly memorable and a high benchmark of great service for all hotel staff! The location is great, a short walk to the Duomo and many other great attractions. The rooftop view of the Duomo is also breath-taking especially during sunset and at night. Drinks are quite expensive up there though. Breakfast in the hotel is great, love the quality of ham, cheese and wonderful pastries every morning! I would definitely highly recommend this hotel in Florence and looking forward to coming back to stay next time!
What absolutely gorgeous hotel. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left it was wonderful. The staff were amazing and the room was beautiful. The view from the roof top bar is a must for anyone visiting this stunning city. Five star in every aspect and perfectly located for anyone wanting to explore Florence and all it has to offer.
Friendly staff .. great location .. there was a water spray (shattaf) in our room 😍 .. special and big thanks to ‘’Alessa’’ for her professional service and help (I hope that I wrote her name correctly😅)
The hotel is lovely with lots of charm. The room was nice, with a chair and table. The front desk service was wonderful. We enjoyed going to the roof top bar at sunset for snacks and drinks.
The Tivoli Palazzo offers class, beauty, a superb location five minutes by foot to the Duomo, an indoor & outdoor eating area, a roof terrace overlooking the heart of the city, great nearby shopping, and even a library of books on history and art. The staff, featuring Julia, Gwendalina, Benedetto, Mauro, Michele, Agostina, Mirko, Nolvin the smiley doorman, and others, was phenomenal: friendly, helpful, dutiful, upbeat. Our rooms were small, and we struggled to make space for our luggage and our toiletries. We also had to ask for bath towels. It seemed strange that we had such troubles in an otherwise fabulous, immaculate, beautiful, upscale hotel. But we did. To a degree, it was compensated for with a door which opened up to a roof patio. But there were no chairs or umbrellas on the patio, so we felt awkward using it. So if you stay at this hotel, make sure you ask for a large room, and you will have a great experience. For location, appointment, staff, and cleanliness, you couldn't do much better.
We stayed here for 3 nights ending of July. The location of the hotel is perfect, off the main roads but an easy walk from the train station and close to all the gorgeous Florence attractions. The Uffizi galleries, Cathedral, many squares were all within about a 10 minute walk. The rooftop view is a dream, and was the perfect spot to have a nightcap. Sitting outside in the courtyard for breakfast and cappuccinos was delightful way to start the day. The bed was comfy, the room was well appointed, and turn down service was a nice surprise. Every single person we encountered from Nolvin at the door, to the front desk, waitstaff, and entire crew were nothing short of the epitome of professionalism. They were all just so lovely and helpful. We are just so glad we chose to stay here, and are thankful for an unforgettable experience in this stunner of a hotel.
